It is remarkable that Paul Rushworth and his teams at Finders Keepers have looked after us and our property for 35! years AND still keep up the high standards of professional efficiency set by the founder of the company. During this time we have only had 4 changes of permanent property managers and each one has been as highly efficient and congenial as the previous . This gives complete continuity in management which is essential so one can confidently let out our property whilst being abroad. Alec Bayford and Emma Hopkins have always been there for wise advice and maintenance issues and to oversee changeovers of property management to ensure everything runs smoothly. We are fortunate to have Alima Begum as our present property manager for reliably, efficiently keeping up the high professional standards of prompt responses , property inspection reports, and astutely keeping us up to date with all our compliance certificates and any new regulations . I still believe that Finders Keepers motto is “ JUST leave it to us, we’ll sort it !” which gives us great peace of mind and confidence when letting out our beloved property.

I am so relieved today, the result of the great work of Connie, the senior property manager at Finders Keepers. I thought there is no better way to thank her than to write this review. We live in Perth Australia and my daughter was due to commence her studies at the U of Oxford in Jan 2021. Trying to get through the administrative red tape in the middle of a pandemic is a nightmare. Her college informed her that it is unable to offer a room as she is commencing in Jan and not Sept. We thought it would be easy and embarked on apartment hunting in Oxford from across the world. We then realised that she needed a "right to rent", which is tied to her VISA, which is tied to some documentations from her department. Somewhere someone had not got the ball rolling. Getting an accepted offer is the other great hurdle. Many agents inflated prices. We made offers and then would not hear back from the agent. One went "on leave" immediately after communicating with us. One came back one week later to tell us the landlord prefer someone else. Eventually we found Finders Keepers who put up an apartment which we believed reflect the true market rate. Everything went smoothly and we signed the rental contract. On the 5/1/21, the day that my daughter was to catch a flight from Perth to London, we woke up to find that a lock down was declared for UK. Due to the uncertainties, we decided to postpone her flight. But that leads to many other administrative matters. The biggest is her accommodation and the 13 parcels that I had ordered from eBay that were delivered to the eBay collection point for pickup. These parcels are all the necessary items for her to set up home in the middle of winter; bedsheet, duvet, cutlery, etc. While I thought that the property manager could assist to pick up the parcels, I was not hopeful that she will be agreeable. However I was most surprise that she agreed! She just sent a photo of what she picked up. It blew me away. I am relieved that all the necessities are now securely in the apartment and my daughter can set up home and live out her 10 days quarantine. I am very grateful to Connie for the kind act. Such service is what we treasured in these extraordinary times. We will always go back to Finders Keepers. Great job.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

FK staff have been very helpful throughout our tenancy, particularly Connie. She always answers our calls and emails promptly and cares about tenants' experiences. Unfortunately, we had a landlord who was very reluctant to make repairs and severe damp in the house which I suppose is out of the control of FK. They tried many, many times to encourage the landlord to take action and required a new damp survey be completed. I would also say that moving in wasn't the best experience and we felt the property wasn't cleaned to a high standard. This could be improved.

The service is generally good and the property was in good condition except for a few things. Although our property manager, Ceri, was very kind and quick to respond, Finders Keepers were sometimes slow to fix issues. Would have been nice to have some issues sorted sooner or first time but Ceri was always easy to contact when needed. It was also a nice house compared to what is generally available in Oxford.
