I was joint vendor of a flat in Wimbledon. My father had bought this flat and lived there continuously since 1991, but recent years…2022 onwards…and his advanced age (90 years old, with associated health issues: dementia, etc.) made it untenable for him to live there, so he moved into a Care Home, and his flat needed selling. In January 2024, it was allocated for sale with Ellisons (Wimbledon), who were very helpful throughout its sale process (explaining all procedures arising and costs incurred, issuing progress updates, etc.). Eventually, the flat was sold and handed over officially to the new owner in October 2024. In fact, Ellisons (Wimbledon)…current staff…will not know this: that very same Ellisons Estate Agent (office and location) had helped me…first-time buyer…buy my property (flat) in Wimbledon in October 1993, with outstanding services (advice and guidance) provided by the then Branch Manager…downstairs…and then Financial Adviser…upstairs…to obtain the best mortgage available (based on the base rate and interest rates then !!). My mortgage payments started in November 1993 and ended in October 2018 (25 years later) !! I have lived continuously in this flat ever since then to date (writing this review), facilitated truthfully by Ellisons (Wimbledon) in 1993, above !! Hence, it is sentimentally totally apt that Ellisons (Wimbledon) had helped 2 family members, son (aged 29, first-time buyer) buying a flat in Wimbledon (1993) AND…31 years later…HIS father (aged 91) selling HIS flat in Wimbledon (2024) !! Heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to Ellisons (Wimbledon) for all outstanding property services provided to both family members…property purchase and sale…above, 31 years apart !! Exact same Estate Agent / Office / Location, inevitably different Agency staff, 31 years later !! Double credit, where it is due, most deservedly to Ellisons (Wimbledon) !!

The overall experience of selling the house was extremely stressful but Carlos has been brilliant along the way. He was leading our sale and has taken charge when our solicitors we not on top of the game. He was extremely responsive even on his days off and was the one keeping me and my husband informed. There is often a negative perception of estate agents, Carlos was the opposite, he remained honest and open throughout the process which alleviated the stress.

We’ve had a very positive experience with Ellisons with us just having exchanged on a property earlier this month. We’ve spend the better part of the last year viewing houses with Aidan in the South Park Gardens area and with every viewing we came away with something new (in terms of knowledge and understanding of the trade-offs you inevitably face as a buyer). Ellisons were brilliant on for our house search. We started looking in the Raynes Park area and it took us a year to find our home. We dealt with both Rowan and Rob during our search and both of them knew the area inside out, offering genuine advice on what would be best for us, rather than pushing an agenda. Once we found our home and agreed a price, Rowan was very helpful throughout the process into exchange, including arranging multiple visits the property whilst we scoped out refurbishment. Overall I highly recommend getting in touch with Ellisons if you are looking in this area, and when we eventually sell we certainly intend on using them.

Viewed a property for rent in Morden with Ellisons. The property itself was very nice and we placed an offer for it but unfortunately the landlord went for a higher price. Ellisons informed me they would have another property in the same building the following week and someone would get in touch with me. A week or 2 later, I still hadn't heard anything to the point I was back at square 1, looking for other properties again. Unreliable agency. Would not recommend at all.
