I would not recommend Eden Harper unless you enjoy having to chase property management constantly. The sales and lettings team are lovely and made signing the contract super easy. However, throughout our tenancy (1 year) we had at least 3 different property managers, all of which were equally hard to get ahold of. The only manager we had who was any good was Lilian but she unexpectedly left. In the initial months of our tenancy a wardrobe and bed broke, this took weeks to get replaced. A window in one of the bedrooms was rotting, broken and letting in cold air - and although this was reported in January it took until April to get a replacement and by that point we were moving out in a month. Any maintenance issues we reported constantly felt like an inconvenience. Now we are in a battle with the landlord over the deposit where the 'damage' in question is tape left by contractors and a wardrobe that according to the check out report was the same as check in. It has been over 2 months since we have left and we have had to chase the agents constantly by email to try and get our money back, with no reply and impossible to get ahold of relevant people on the phone. Having previously worked in lettings I understand how tricky landlords can be, but Eden Harper's lack of communication or care doesn't help them at all. We are so glad to be with different agents now, but cannot believe we are still dealing with these issues even once we've moved out.

I'm not sure how Eden Harper have such positive reviews on every platform, as they have been the single most ineffective, infuriating management company I have ever had the displeasure of working with. Our flat was empty for at least a month and a half prior to us moving in but they waited until the evening before to re-paint, so we moved in to wet paint on the walls, construction debris on the floor, and a number of half-finished jobs that took months to resolve. In the 6 months since then, we've had 5 different property managers. They never respond to anything promptly - we always need to follow up multiple times via email and phone - and have on more than one occasion lied about the progress of something. If you move into an Eden Harper-managed property, beware: nothing will get done and you'll drive yourself insane in the process. Avoid at all costs.

As an owner living overseas I’ve had my share of stress and frustration with London estate agents but not this time! Natasha and Alex at Eden Harper have been excellent. I’m very impressed with their communication, transparency and ‘can do’ approach.. Have helped find and interview tenants, sort out certification/ repair issues and generally been pro- active and - crucially - available to discuss and advise, which has been an enormous help. We have rented 34a TENNYSON STREET,SW8 3ST property. The location of property is in the middle of neighbouring strife. There’s ongoing banging,and some other terribly loud noise. During the night and day time. Jason from no33 is almost constantly outdoor on the pavement and creating a lots of noise etc. We have struggled to work from home and live here. Because the Antisocial Social Behaviour in this area is almost constant. We think this property is not liveable. Therefore we have moved out.

THIS is how you do it. I’ve been with Eden Harper for over 10 years now. I live abroad. They have made everything SO EASY. I have never had any problems with anything. If ever theres an issue with the property or the tenant, they inform me of the issue and the solution and take care of it immediately. I cannot recommend them enough, and if all companies (in any field) were as good as these guys the world would be a brilliant place to exist.

WORST AGENCY EVER I have dealt with. Arranged a viewing with Kimberley at 11am - Battersea branch. Reached on time at the given address. 11:03 called the office as I could not see the agent and was told Kimberley will be there in 5 minutes and she has just left the office. The agent will let Kimberley know that I am waiting. Called back at 11:20 saying I have been waiting for last 20 minutes and no one has come. The agent says Kimberley was there and waited for 10 minutes and she could not find me. She has my number but no attempt to give me a call either to tell me she is running late or asking my whereabouts of the property if she has been. Big liars and then the agent has the audacity to ask me why are you so angry. Utter waist of time. Never ever to deal with them.

I've enjoyed a long-standing relationship with the lovely folk of Eden Harper, which is rare, since I have a general tendency to avoid estate agents if possible. I find I trust EH in a way that I have not been able to do with other agents. Probably the worst agency I was involved with. Very slow on taking actions. They shared misleading information about my tenancy. I had to read through the whole contract and after I shared specific lines and sections on the contract they said 'It was a misunderstanding '. I also left the property more than a month ago and we had to keep chasing for them to finally come back to us for processing the deposit! Not a great experience
