GoogleFrankly poor! Seeking additional valuation when selling parents' property. ELR came in 40% less than 2 other valuations.

Morning Sally, Our records show the valuation was 4 years ago in 2018 so I wish you got in touch with us back then to discuss the valuation rather than leave it 4 years to show your disappointment. However, as the Valuer & Director of the Rotherham Office with over 23 years valuing experience in and around Rotherham & in my defence, I was on holiday for the period you had your valuation & a colleague of mine from another Branch was standing in for me during that time. Although he is an experienced valuer, he may have struggled on your individual property & the area. I would have been more than happy to come back out and see on my return. In the future if you require a valuation from ELR, please make sure I'm not holiday! I'm glad you managed to sell the property for a fair price in the end.

GoogleUnfortunately a very poor experience, called to view a property, they forgot to arrange it, called again, left details again, no response, tried email, no response. I feel for the sellers, people want to view their property but ELR stand in the way with no response!

GoogleWe can’t thank the team at ELR enough for supporting us throughout the sale of our late fathers house. Their professionalism and dedication has been exemplary. When the odd buyer issue cropped up, they stepped in each time and helped us resolve the problems. Fantastic communication throughout with regular updates and much effort put in by the ELR team when chasing down the chain where web based selling agents were being used where they clearly don’t offer the same personal touch as a traditional agent like ELR. At the last hurdle before the sale went through, had it not been for Richard and Nicole putting in so much time and effort, our sale might have collapsed without their intervention and that’s the kind of personal service you really need when selling a house. Amazing jog, amazing people, brilliant estate agents, bravo and thank you to the team at ELR who we whole heartedly would recommend to everyone 👏🏻🙏⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

GoogleWe started our house buying journey in the Peak District some time ago and after one unsuccessful would be purchase due to events beyond our control Hayley at ELR, Hathersage played a crucial part in helping us secure the house we wanted on a new build small estate. We are now in and love it. Throughout the quite long period both Hayley and Katherine provided professional as well as a friendly and sympathetic service in ensuring we got the best outcome. GoogleWe chose E L R because Truly came over as a very competent profession person. And was very helpful. But towards the end of the sale process things seemed to decline .

Thank you for the feedback & review Mr Kay. I'm obviously disapointed by the 2 star review so have looked into your purchase, read the notes & spoken to Truly. As far back as March Truly was chasing both Solicitors explaining that you wanted a completion ASAP & she chased them weekly. She did as much as she could to hurry things along but as you were aware, the communication between the Solicitors wasn't very good & this slowed things down at each stage. I feel your 2 stars reflects on their service. I hope you enjoy the new home.
