If only buying a house was this easy every time. From identifying the plot, with the help of Harpinder and Helen, that would suit us the most, reserving it, choosing our options, and seeing the roof go on the whole experience has been excellent and fun. Both Harpinder and Helen have gone that extra mile to ensure we have got the house we want.

Housing development running a seemingly fair business - though at this stage I have only completed the pre-plaster so will update when all is completed. So far, more honest and up front than I was expecting. Very helpful friendly staff. Impressed by the way incentives have been handled. House appear to be of high quality but will confirm when we have moved in.

Not recommended, because you will find things are different after payment. But they will only tell you that a Showroom is a showroom. It won't be different from Showroom's. But they themselves promised the wardrobe before I paid ten percent. now they will tell you that you need to contact the wardrobe company yourself for the plates inside. I will not recommend my friends to buy David Willson house in NG20

We have visited the Kingsborne site at DWH in Nantwich many times and can honestly say every interaction has been superb. All staff we have encountered have been super helpful, however we would like to personally recognise Gillian Tomlinson. Gillian on every visit was always super helpful , extremely knowledgeable , exceptionally patient and gave 5 star service. Gillian truly goes the extra mile! Beautiful show homes by the way too ! We are purchasing our new home and have to deal with many developers including DWH representatives from different sites. They are very professional, polite and client oriented.In addition to that, I found DWH properties to be good value for money. They may not look fancy from the outside, but are very functional and well planned inside.At present, I can't say anything about the construction quality over time. But the standard 2/10 years warranty is provided. The kitchens we saw look very good.

Stella ( Estera) and Lucy have both been fantastic at Wendel View from discussing the site plans / area through to explaining everything during the reservation process. IT issues didn’t dampen their spirits or happiness with us becoming residents of the site. Definitely a 5 star experience.

If I could give Duchy zero stars I would. 2.5 years since moving in and we STILL have ongoing snags ! The response we constantly get from customer service is … we will chase this up ! I’ve never known it take so long …. We had a redrow new build prior to duchy and never had an issue ! Labelled themselves as luxury and exclusive…. Far from it !!! Also ask about who they rent the social housing too … ours are now filled with drug dealers and anti social behaviour … so much for the luxury development it sold itself as ! Just avoid at all costs they have been nothing but a nightmare !

TrustpilotInconsiderate, and disrespectful to existing land owners
I am a new-build home owner and would be the last person to discourage people from buying new, but Duchy is the exception.I live on a site directly opposite from the Duchy development in Leeds and they have been nothing but disruptive, disrespectful and down right rude. I have had the pleasure of inhaling second hand smoke from the builders who can see into my garden clearly, and would have noticed my big pregnant belly but choose to light up a cigarette whilst hanging off the balcony of their site office. I cant enjoy my garden 5 days of the week, and even on hot days I need to keep my windows shut just so I don't have to suffer. On one occasion I caught them peering into my garden, and winding up my dog by 'barking' at him. They have also dumped a huge 4 meter soil pile at the back of my garden fence which blows dust and soil into my garden. This was not on their original plans so I am not sure why it is even there. I have emailed them repeatedly regarding these issues, even reaching out to the managing director personally but sadly they have just completely ignored my concerns. Judging by the other reviews here I would never buy a Duchy home, and certainly would discourage other people from doing so as they aren't even organised or competent enough to respond to emails. God knows what they are actually like at building houses.
