Customer Care Experience

Our home was attended today by Ian, who provided first class customer service. He repaired a number of issues that we had reported and also went out of his way to paint/repair issues he also came across whilst doing so.He was extremely friendly and respectful and ensured everything was left at a high standard. Ian should be recognised for his positive attitude towards his customers and work! He fixed everything that had been reported (some snags that were reported to site and were never amended when we moved in 10 months ago, but Ian was sent out within 2 weeks of contacting customer care!) Thank you!

No interest in the misery they cause

Continued issues with the poor state of public open spaces and drainage. Even when a complaint is ongoing, these people have no shame, happy to lie and provide misleading information, or just ignore completely if they can’t be bothered to make up an answer. Despite numerous calls to DW/B Customer Services at head office, the person we want to speak to has never answered the phone or returned our calls. He is afraid of speaking personally to us because he knows the company are in the wrong and he cannot explain without incriminating himself. And where too is David Thomas, head of all this shambles? No where to be seen and totally disinterested in the misery his company has caused us, and with no intention of taking up our invitation to come and view first hand the indescribably shabby “work” that has gone on and continues to be encouraged here. The only thing these people are good at is making a total joke of the term Customer Service. All the DW/B individuals responsible for this farce (the 4 know who they are) need to step back and take a long long look at the real meaning of their jobs and try to understand that bringing misery into customer’s lives shouldn’t be part of the job description.

Home buying with DWH

Our experience with DWH was great throughout the whole process of buying our new home. ALL the staff were ALWAYS helpful and absolutely nothing was too much trouble for any of them!!! The ladies in the sales office Kate & Courtney went above and beyond constantly. Kate in particular was amazing, when there were bumps in the road she kept us calm and dealt with things professionally whilst supporting and reassuring us at the same time, an absolute star!!!!

Customer service to praise …

I have worked in the New build sector for over 20years and I’m so aware of the negative comments made towards developers. Usually from peoples unrealistic expectations.Having moved into my own new build, I am on the other side of the coin!I have to say the property has a very few items for my ‘snag list’ . The items I have given the Bridget from DWH customer care have been reported, accounted for and investigated. Bridget listens, takes action and keeps her word. She is ‘on the case’ I couldn’t praise her more for her communication with me.I now await the trades/ operatives carrying out the work required.

Lovely house

Lovely, spacious home...but, you should check all appliances before handing property to your customers. Also, Amtico floor should be deeply cleaned and polished to rid thick layers of dust that remains as a result of the building work. Unfortunately, only poor, domestic cleaning was carried out. Common DWH, you can do better than that! You are just teeny-tiny step to 5 stairs.

Never again would we buy from DWH

Moved into our new build September 2022.Very warm water from cold pipes in outside tap and bathroom handbasin. Have to flush the toilet before turning on the cold tap for the warm water to clear.Sent in their cowboy team who attended numerous times even removing part of the lounge ceiling twice, taking part of the floor up in two locations and found no fault!Paid for a local plumber ourselves who identified problem. STILL waiting for DWH to put this right, despite their pledge to correct the fault.Just wished they would offer to buy this house back from us. Never again would we buy a new build.

What a great team

What a great team, from the minute we walked into the marketing suite and spoke to the friendliest ladies (Kerry and Bev) to the fabulous Jayne who had to deal with a very challenging sale due to our buyer and without her perseverance things definitely would not have progressed as they did. Jayne made sure things constantly moved along and was so helpful. So happy with our new home and the really lovely welcome we received when we moved in and the excellent customer service since, this is our third new build purchase and we are sooooo happy, thanks to a great team
