This is about Kingsbourne Nantwich. There are things lying around on the development that should not be there. They make the place look untidy and a real mess. There are barriers lying around on the pavement and on the road especially on a bad bend where there is a hole in the pavement either side of the road on a bad bend. There are workmen there but they just ignore them. The holes have been there for weeks now so when will they be filled in so we get the full size road again. There are flag poles, flags, a pavement closed sign and a red barrier just lying on the road/pavements Their ignorance is unbelievable as they have still not answered our questions about the new road regarding security and sound proofing. We live right by the road and there is little security and no sound proofing at the moment so they should have the decency to tell us what is going to be put in place regarding this. We have a right to know. There is a street light right by number 84 Reaseheath Way that has never worked so when is that going to be done as it is really dark at that point and all the road humps desperately need repainting to stop any accidents or damage to vehicles. I have also attached a photo of the grass verge that is saturated because their street sweepers do not give a toss about wasting water so something should be done about that. It seems to me that they don't care nor do their contractors who take no pride in there work.

Kerry and Beverley at the Fernwood Village site were absolutely phenomenal. So attentive, approachable and professional. The show homes where in immaculate condition as was the site office, a perfect first impression which would ultimately lead us to buying a property on the site. Kerry and Beverley, John, Bill and the after care team are an exceptional team, Bills help for our after care was second to non. All I can say is if you are buying on Fernwood, get a DWH!!

From the moment we reserved our plot at The Hawthorns, nothing was too much trouble for the sales team Kim and Ricky. If we had a question or request it was dealt with promptly and we were always welcome at the site for a coffee and a chat. Before we moved in we were given a tour of the property and a special mention should go to Aaron, the site manager who since our move last week has been around each day to check if we settling in. This has been much appreciated.Any minor snagging problems we had were dealt with almost immediately and nothing is too much trouble. Kim, Ricky and Aaron, it has been a pleasure to meet you and you have all made our move as easy and stress free as we could have hoped for. Thank youPaul & Jane.

Updated 30/04/24Revisited this review because it feels like all DW/Barratt care about are the stars but this is NOT a "five star, five star builder" by a long shot. Our snagging work is still not completed and we hit 6 months in the property this week.The gardens are abysmal, literally every home in our street is ripping out the shoddy work by DW's chosen sub contractors and replacing it at further cost to themselves, us included. The decorating sub contractors are also very poor, not bothering with basics like dust sheets and leaving mess all over the place in our brand new home. We even argued our front door was poorly fitted and kept being told no, until finally it would not even lock and an emergency call out revealed the door was incorrectly installed.Every area of worker seems keen to blame each other for problems, and now we are being passed to customer care with several outstanding items and discovering promised bookings have not been made for repairs. It very much has the feel of once you pay the money they run for the hills. We are so disheartened after the great experience with Gavin and it has seriously soured the joy of moving to our new home. I can only hope now we are passed to the customer care team that things improve.Original comments below:As chance walk in clients, from the first moment Gavin at DW took absolute care of us - no BS or mucking about, guy is an absolute asset to the company and we genuinely would not have purchased had it not been for his service.He was with us every step of the way and as first time buyers his help was invaluable.

We moved to Centurian Meadows in Burley-in-Wharfedale in March 2024. We chose the location because it’s so close to everything that good about this part the world….proximity to Leeds, Harrogate, York, Ilkley (it’s a long list). But we chose DWH Centurion Meadows because of the friendly and professional team and we did our homework. DWH build quality is of a high standard. Once we were in the aftercare was really excellent and the team have made a real effort to help and support new homeowners get to know each other and settle in to their new home. We were new to the area and the sales team have helped with advice about where to go for “stuff” for our new home. The whole experience from start to finish was slick, straightforward and transparent with no hidden catches.

Friendly, but professional treatment from start to finish from Emily at Bicester. Part exchanging made selling and buying much smoother. Nice being able to have choices with most things. However I did have to settle for a gas hob when I would have preferred and did ask for ceramic. Overall feeling pretty satisfied though.

GoogleWe bought our New Build 4 Bderoom detached 'Gosforth' in Sunderland and recieved our keys November 2022. The sales office staff were amazing, accommodating and friendly. However, this is where it ends. As with any new build, regardless of the Star rating, you expect snags. What you don't expect from a 5 star builder is the amount of poor quality! *Our detached garage had to be pulled down and rebuilt due to incorrect level of foundation. *Our shared driveway needs to be lifted as its subsided and sank. *Numerous interior issues with Poor Painting, Carpentry, Tiling etc. *Shower tray not fitted correctly and still to be ripped out. *Damaged glazing and PVC frames cracked. *Front door rattling. *Kitchen extractor too small and not fit for purpose, meaning when cooking the upper wall units are delaminating because of the steam. *Poorly fitted Granite Work tops. The list goes on.... The most infuriating part is the Lack of Customer Service from Customer Services. Before dealing with Customer Services, the site manager was extremely helpful. That was until the garage was 'rectified' as it was never declared. Then dosnt want anything to do with other issues.... Customer services don't reply, don't chase up contractors quick enough to fix issues and are reluctant to assist with issues that they feel don't concern them..... I would NOT recommend to anyone to buy purely because of this reason alone. Beautiful homes, full of issues! Very Disappointed......
