GoogleThomas and the staff at this branch are superb, Thomas in particular is outstanding. We had a problematic sale of an expensive house but Thomas made it seem effortless. The fees are very reasonable, the service excellent and the professionalism and communication by Thomas is first class. The only point I would raise is don’t use the auction services that can be provided via a third party ‘iamsold’ - total waste of time, just do it yourself via Thomas. That said and to conclude, I would highly recommend this branch, in particular using Thomas, he is a joy and simply gets the job done. I cannot speak more highly of him.

GoogleAfter seeing a rental property on Dowen's website I phoned the Bishop Auckland branch where Kelly Dartnall was very welcoming and put me on to speak to Ryan McKenna who deals with lettings, I can honestly say from that moment on Ryan has looked after us every step of the way. He arranged a viewing and was eager to find out if it was just what we wanted, and it was! Since then he has kept in touch regularly, sorted out and explained all the paperwork and reassured us when we were feeling overwhelmed that all would be well. In the office Kelly, Ryan and Thomas Fox, the manager, have all been pleasant and helpful and offered their help at any time. I think we have made a very good decision to rent a home through Dowen's of Bishop Auckland and look forward to having a good working relationship with the staff in the future. I fully recommend Dowen's of Bishop Auckland to anyone looking to rent, or buy, a new home. .

Ryan is a delight to deal with; professional, helpful knowledgable and friendly. He is always at the end of the phone if we need him and has always followed up any issues quickly and effectively. GoogleWe have recently completed our house sale with Dowen’s. I cannot speak highly enough of the service we received from the initial valuation to completion of sale. Thomas dealt with us initially and he was friendly, informative and explained the whole process really well. Our house was marketed really attractively, very quickly and we were kept in the loop throughout the viewings process. Once we had received an offer Ryan then dealt with us until the point of completion and beyond! Ryan was amazing full stop!! Such a friendly, approachable and knowledgable estate agent who made me feel like nothing was too much to ask! Ryan went above and beyond the call of duty time after time and I would recommend him to anyone! I cannot thankyou Dowen’s, especially Ryan, enough for everything and he would definitely be my number one choice as an estate agent in the future! GoogleFrom the moment I went into Dowen's Office to arrange to rent a property from them, I felt very welcome. Ryan Mckenna, the letting manager was wonderful in that he is not only very efficient, but also very pleasant and friendly and I felt really at ease with him. You'd think he had all the time in the world to explain everything entailed with moving and he has kept me up to date with phone calls and emails and has really made a wonderful experience of what could have been a stressful time. I must mention the manager Thomas Fox too, he came out to look at the house we live in now on behalf of our present landlord and he couldn't have been more pleasant and unintrusive if he'd tried. Last but not least, Kelly Dartnall in the office was very welcoming, pleasant and helpful too. In my opinion, all the staff in the Bishop Auckland office are second to none and I would definitely recommend them to anyone wanting to buy, rent, or sell a property

GoogleMy partner and I recently found an amazing property to let from Dowen - we couldn't have done it without Ryan. He made it his mission (the exact words he used) after viewing one property to find us an ideal property that met the requirements we had. Within an hour of our first viewing he sent a few more potential houses over and in less than a week we'd found somewhere that was absolutely perfect. He's also gone above and beyond and has been only too happy to keep us in the loop with any details, no matter how small. Amazing service and I couldn't recommend Dowen or especially Ryan any higher. Thank you!

GoogleI've just rented a property through Dowen and it's been a breeze. It was a quick and relatively easy process to book a viewing, pay a holding deposit, and then submit the application form and all of it has been dealt with professionally by Dawn. If I had any queries she responded to my emails quickly and was very friendly and helpful whenever I spoke to her. Would recommend.
