Derbyshire Properties - our point of contact was Amy Pipes and she was extremely helpful with our house move. Derbyshire Properties were the agents for the selling party and we were the buyers. We had to chase for the sale to go through due to the paperwork (for the vendor) being stuck with their Solicitor and we needed to get this paperwork moving for us to exchange with our buyers for our property which we were selling, to stop the chain falling apart. Amy was excellent with this and we did exchange as verbally agreed with all parties. We would certainly use Derbyshire Properties should we be in a situation where we want to move again. Matt did the valuation and our house was back on the market in 4 days including professional photos. Georgia has been a star throughout our sale. GoogleTerrible experience with this company. Poor knowledge of the situation and terrible communication skills. They actually asked "Why do you need a second viewing? Can't you just sign?" This is shocking and unethical. Georgia should not be in a role where she deals with the general public as she is that rude. Avoid and go to other estate agents.Plenty on the same road.

Stay well clear!!! Awful company and tie you into a never-ending contract - £360 should you take your house off the market even after the 20 weeks. They even tried to add someone who didn't come to view our house. There are far better estate agents out there. I would not be touching these with a barge pole. They just hound you for your money and do not care whether they sell your house or not!

GoogleMy partner called to view a house we have seen in the local area, the agent asked if our house was up for sale etc (it isn't as we were planning on selling in the new year but the house that we were interested in was just what we were looking for). She said she would contact the seller and call back, we have heard nothing. I suspect this may be due to the fact our house isn't up for sale, although it would seem a good business opportunity could have been taken as they could have valued our house and put it on the market. If they can't be bothered to get back to us I certainly wouldn't use Derbyshire Properties on the knowledge they so easily pass up prospective buyers. Seems strange that a business with a sole purpose of selling and buying houses isn't interested in doing either.

GoogleI was so pleased with my experience of selling my home through Derbyshire Properties. It was listed very quickly and sold in one week for over the asking price. The agent Georgia was very proactive in engaging with my onward purchase estate agents helping me secure my next home despite 4 other offers on the table. She also kept great communication avenues open despite multiple issues with the complex sale. Georgia definitely kept the whole sale on track and for that I am very grateful !
