GoogleI recently purchased a property through Derbyshire Properties and can honestly say they made the process such an ease. If I had any issues or queries they were sure to act on this fast and was always informative. I dealt mainly with Kelsea who was very professional, had great customer service and was very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend to anyone who is thinking of using these.

Our house was on the market end part of November and we didn't expect a lot of interest in November/December. On January 20th I rang up to check if the was any news. I then suggested that the price that had been given was a little over ambitious. They then said to drop the price which we did. After that price reduction we got a viewing and took an offer on the house. The house sale fell through and after that as before we was left again. No contact. The only thing I wanted was to be kept informed,

GoogleWe recently moved to our new home. We used Derbyshire Properties as our estate agent. At first they were very proactive. But as time went on the market slowed down. We felt less engaged with DP. We dropped our asking price significantly on there advise. We were due to take it off the market and then we managed to get a buyer at the eleventh hour. After we had sold they were fantastic and very engaging in particular Kelsie. She was amazing chasing any enquiries we needed. All in all not a bad experience.

GoogleThankyou to all the team at Derbyshire Properties for the sale of my mum's bungalow. Jude's interest and advice at the start of the process and Jordan's honest appraisal during the photo and measuring. It gave us confidence we were in safe hands. It took a while to find interest with a slow market through the winter but once an offer was made from that time Kelsea and Cheryl were a big help to keep us updated on progess through to final completion.

GoogleIf you can avoid them please do. First time selling a house and Jude was amazing, I could never fault him however, the issues we occurred with the rest of the service has been so stressful. The handover was in June 2025, once we gave the keys in I checked with them directly in person asking how much we pay them. I was informed this was paid from the solicitors as we were paying out of our equity. Reassuring all as well. We then get to December 2025, a good 6 months for them to say it hasn’t been paid. For 1. How did it take them so long to notice and 2. Who chases money JUST before Christmas (within the week of Christmas Day may I add). I think they expected it to pull it from my…… I refused to discuss this at the time and to be contacted in the new year. Don’t get me wrong, Jason was helpful and understand at the time. I expressed my dissatisfaction to Ben (I think it is) and Jude as there was one women who’s attitude and approach was actually APPALLING. Honestly, how she was employed was beyond me. I was then transferred to Kelsey but at this point I took everything into my own hands and funnily enough was directly speaking to our buyers as no one was much help. Anyway, I could honestly give you more reasons to not go to DP than why you should. Please just keep this review in mind before committing to them as I know a good amount of people who also have had issues and I stupidly went against it because they could do a valuation sooner than other estate agents and wanted my house on the market asap. And I can guarantee they will respond to review this very defensive and dismissive because criticism is something they can’t handle.

That said, we do feel it is important to clarify that the matter regarding payment of our fees was not something that was within Derbyshire Properties’ control. As you had instructed a solicitor to act on your behalf and understood that our fees were being settled from your sale proceeds, we were reliant on the conveyancing process and the arrangements made with your solicitor. The subsequent delay in payment was therefore not a matter arising from the service we provided in marketing and selling your property. We also want to reassure prospective clients reading this review that we take feedback seriously and would never wish to be dismissive of a client's concerns. Where something falls within our responsibility, we will always seek to address it fairly and professionally. GoogleGreat communicative team. They use great solicitors in their own package. I've used Derbyshire properties for both selling my house and buying a new one. I used their full package in which step legal take care of the legal side of things and these are good solicitors. I dealt with whole team and they are great friendly professional, mostly deal with Kelsea and she's is really good at her job and very informative, Adam came to house took photo's very friendly local chap just a pleasure to use these estate agents and there packages they offer.

I recently had the pleasure of dealing with Hollie and Amy and I cannot recommend them highly enough. From start to finish, they provided excellent service, always keeping me updated and making the whole process smooth and stress-free. Hollie was continuously professional, friendly, and incredibly helpful throughout. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and she was always quick to respond to any questions or concerns. Her communication and attention to detail really stood out. Thank you for all your hard work and support, it was truly appreciated.

GoogleJude from Derbyshire properties was absolutely amazing! We had a bad experience with an online agent so wanted to chose a good agent with excellent local knowledge which Jude has in abundance. Another stand out service he offered was the quality of the photos. The marketing really made a difference and we think him for that. The only negatives we experienced was having to constantly chase after we secured a sale as we had a long frustrating chain and it felt that Kelsey was overstretched on the sales side. It wasnt her fault at all and she was lovely, but she seemed to have too much work for 1 person so thats a service issue for the business not her! Thank you all

Having dealt with other agents in the past, their local knowledge of the DE56 market really stood out, they got the pricing right from the start, leading to a quick sale. The team (especially Amy, Gemma & Georgia) was incredibly professional and went above and beyond to keep me updated throughout the entire process. I felt reassured by their proactive communication; I was never left wondering what was happening with my viewings or offers.
