GoogleI had a viewing booked in Canterbury at 10:00 am with someone named Jazmyn Denise. I called the company at 10:00 am, they said that the guide is getting late due to traffic. Waited for an hour with no further updates. No one picked my call again and never bothered to give an update.

GoogleThis was my first house sale and after my initial estate agents weren’t really getting me any viewings, I went with a friend’s recommendation to contact DDM’s. When Lisa came round to explain how DDM’s operated, the large portfolio of investor buyers they have and daily reviews of sales, I had no hesitation choosing them. Lisa also posts sales on her personal facebook profile, as well as DDM's and also did a walk through video of my property. My mid-terrace in David Street, Grimsby was eventually bought by investor buyers, but only after months of them offering me completions without exchanging, cancelled removals and the solicitors I now regret choosing being anything but proactive or seemingly even interested in completing. Lee handled a very difficult, protracted situation very well and when required, both Lexi and Doug stepped in to either send firm, well drafted emails to all concerned or speak directly with the buyer’s representatives, whilst not putting the sale in jeopardy. DDM’s were professional throughout, in a particularly difficult sale and I would suggest this is why they are still going strong, around 140 years after being established. Highly recommend and I can’t thank them enough.

GoogleDealing with Doug at DDM has been one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever encountered in any industry. Despite numerous attempts to reach him via telephone and email, he has completely ghosted me, failing to return calls or acknowledge my last six emails.
Dear Joe, We are sorry to read your review, although we do not believe it accurately reflects the communication or service provided by our team or Doug. Our records show that several members of staff spoke with you and explained that, before a sale could be formally agreed or the property marked as under offer, we required the standard documentation, including satisfactory proof of funds, completion of the necessary anti-money laundering checks and confirmation of solicitor details. These requirements form part of our legal and regulatory obligations and were also important to the seller, who had instructed us to continue marketing the property until the necessary checks and documentation had been completed. We are satisfied that our team acted appropriately, communicated the requirements and followed both the seller’s instructions and our compliance obligations throughout. We would be happy to discuss any remaining concerns with you privately.

GoogleI’ve been renting through DDM Scunthorpe for a while now, and I honestly can’t fault them. Everyone in the office is so friendly and welcoming, and they’re always easy to get hold of if I ever need anything. Whenever something has needed repairing, they’ve always done their best to get it sorted as quickly as possible and have kept me updated along the way. It’s really nice renting through an agency that genuinely cares and doesn’t leave you chasing them.

GoogleWe recently put our house on the market at the same time as our daughter and son-in-law, with the aim of finding a larger property where we could all live together in a multi-generational family home. We chose DDM in Brigg, and whilst the journey had plenty of twists and turns, the team helped us navigate every challenge along the way. The chain consisted of five properties, all being handled by DDM, with the top of the chain presenting some particularly complex and unusual issues that made the process far from straightforward. I cannot speak highly enough of Liberty. She was absolutely outstanding from start to finish, patient, kind, professional, and an exceptional communicator. Whether she was emailing, WhatsApp messaging, making countless phone calls, or liaising with people in the chain whose first language wasn't English, nothing was ever too much trouble. Even on the days when my own frustration got the better of me, Liberty remained positive, supportive, and focused on finding solutions. Her professionalism, tolerance, and cheerful approach made what could have been an incredibly stressful experience feel as smooth and manageable as possible. We cannot thank her enough for everything she did to keep things moving and keep us informed every step of the way. I sincerely hope we never have to move again, lol, but if we do, there is only one person I'll be calling, Liberty! Thank you, Liberty, and thank you DDM Brigg team.
