GoogleDavid Andrew managed a rental property for me for over 10 years while I was living outside the UK. They were quick to respond and to deal with any issues raised by the tenants. GoogleI have been a customer of David Andrew both as a landlord for a significant period and was impressed by the through and professional manner of its employees. I had excellent tenants who if anything enhanced my property in the time they spent there. I am seriously ill and was supported at each turn as a landlord. In 2021 as a result of the gross mismanagement of the economy it came time for me to have to sell. I had agreed terms 3 times but as a result of the gross mismanagement of the economy 3 times I failed to find to completion. However, I was kept informed, I was treated with knowledgeable and respectful deference even when I should have listened to the experts more. However, finally I have sold the flat and can now live the quiet life where I have no connection to fiscal London. If I had to choose again, I would choose David Andrew again, not that I ever will. Thank you to the property management team and thank God ( as I have) with the never say never property sales team. I would like to mention Bethan in particular for her compassion and support. Those are things money cannot pay for!

GoogleWe just sold our first flat with Mark/Jana/Connor. They were fantastic guiding us through the process and a tricky negotiation to get the best possible outcome. The whole team always knew exactly where things were up to and what the next step was. The also went above and beyond, finding suppliers to get quotes for us and advising on how to brief them for fair quotes for both sides. I would not go anywhere else in Stroud Green.

GoogleCriminals, got mis sold a flat we rented - Got told all of the furniture comes in the flat, the flat is managed by David Andrew and therefore we wouldn’t have to deal with the landlord (all recorded in a viewing video), turns out it wasn’t true. To prevent the same thing happening to other people when the flat got passed onto new tenants I phoned up and asked them to disclose these facts during viewings, along with the fact that the flat needed major structural works (was subsiding causing massive cracks on all walls and flooding the downstairs flat. The landlord couldn’t extend our contract originally in order to get these works done, but changed her mind). Obviously none of this was passed onto tenants. Honestly just concerned with money, not being honest with people.
Dear Neringa, I am really sorry to read your negative review which you felt necessary to post at the end of your tenancy. I see that your flat mate, Kita Luna, has also posted a similar review. From our records, I note that you moved in to the property in January 2021 and vacated in October 2023. We are extremely proud of the high level of service we deliver to vendors, buyers, landlords and tenants and take all negative reviews very seriously. I apologise if you were told that David Andrew Estates were managing this property at the time of your initial viewing. This would have been a genuine mistake, but the management arrangements for the flat would have been communicated to you clearly during the referencing process and when you came to collect the keys on move-in day. As the property was managed by the landlord, and the landlord was your primary point of contact, there should have been no day-to-day involvement by David Andrew Estates during the duration of you stay in the flat. However, we do have an obligation to inform landlords on recent market trends and rental values. As you are aware, rents have increased considerably over the last two years. This has occurred as a result of increased rental demand, a decline in available stock due to rising mortgage rates and a decline in new landlords entering the market because of increased tax liabilities and government legislation. Having reviewed your complaint, my understanding is that there is an ongoing claim for a subsidence issue at the property which was the cause for some of the disrepair in the property. This is not unusual with properties in London with many buildings sitting on clay soil and with large trees in close proximity. Unfortunately these insurance claims are often very protracted while liability is established and repairs are scheduled and undertaken. If you are still not happy with the above response, please contact Theo Dorges by email at theo@davidandrew.co.uk. He will provide you with a formal response to your complaint. We would then encourage you to contact The Property Ombudsman should you decide to escalate this further.

GoogleAbsolutely dreadful experience, rented a sub standard property from them. As tenants they gleefully ignored issues in our contract which should have been resolved within a matter of weeks. We ended up resorting to attempting to resolve these issues through legal routes. The council could not believe what we had been through. Avoid at all costs.

Gemma was able to work out an agreement with us and the buyer that gave us a window to sell our home and secure our new property. It was clear she was behind us the whole way. She was also super responsive and communicative, so I felt I was on top of the situation the whole time.
