GoogleWhen we worked with this letting agent to find a flat for rent in fall 2021, the floor plan provided was incorrect and in fact after inspection proved that the rooms offered in an HMO were not large enough to meet government / council standards. Additionally, the houses we were shown were extremely expensive even for the market, and lacked normal safety features (stair banister, fire alarm, fire blanket). When I asked for certain documents they said they did not think they had them and were unsure if they could pass them along - despite being required to be publicly listed. I'd say the agents here were extremely pushy about getting us to sign a lease and offer above the asking price, and additionally when we did move in (due to the high competition for housing and need to find a place quickly) they were then unresponsive to safety concerns. Overall poor attitude towards tenants, not responsive and pushing unfit properties for well above market price. I wouldnt trust their valuation techniques on a property I was selling nor would I trust them to find me a property to let.

Dear Allegra, thank you for your feedback. I have reviewed the property in question and note that all certificates and relevant paperwork were provided to you at the time you moved in. The Landlord has the appropriate regulated HMO Licence in place. The landlord is managing the tenancy directly and is complying with any repair requests as they are raised. Finally, with your contract term expiring your landlord was able to request a rent review in line with market valuation, I appreciate this did not meet with your approval and you are therefore moving out. GoogleI first bought a property through David Andrew in 2011. We then moved overseas and they then let and managed the property for us and eventually sold the property for us in 2021. They did such a good job that I had no hesitation in letting another property through then once it became available after a long-term lease. Jess and the team are super professional, courteous, comprehensive and a joy to work with. Would highly recommend.

GoogleWorst agency ever!! Avoid!! Spoke with Sarah on 2occasions-closed the phone on me,very rude on both occasions,uncooperative,just wanted to turn me away as obv.they do they undersales to their own people and just advertise falsely! If you want to sell your property-AVOID AT ALL COSTS-CARELESS PEOPLE!!!

GoogleWe recently let out our property through David Andrew and it proved to be an excellent choice - we required a quick turnaround and they did not disappoint. The marketing was really nicely done and after just half a day of viewings we found our tenants thanks to Natalie. We dealt with Kasim throughout, who was fantastic. GoogleBy far the best experience I've had with a letting agency in 10 years spent in London. The process was very transparent and respectful to both the landlord and myself. The staff was super professional, responsive and kind. In particular, Haiden Roeger has been an absolute delight to deal with throughout the process!

GoogleDavid Andrew and Mark Campbell are the best! We had a house; started sale in January 2022; all sorts of difficulties and snags along the way - buyers dropping out; buyers coming back with low offers; throughout it all, Mark was unflappable; he took charge of everything; he did everything, including taking charge of all negotiations, dealing with buyers, dealing with buyers' agents, clearing house - we completed sale in December 2022, and none of it would have been done without him. If you're selling a house in North London - give David Andrew and Mark a call.

GoogleI’ve been renting in the Finsbury Park area using David Andrew’s for over 6 years. I’ve had many points of contact through those years but our current POC is Kate who I have found to be such a breath of fresh air. She’s communicative, friendly and quick to respond to any issues. She makes us feel like she cares and doesn’t make it feel transactional.

GoogleOverall the agency is ok, had few issues that took ages to get sort out and not always responsive. However, this until I started to deal with Kate, if I always had to do business with her it would have been a 5 stars. Super caring, efficient, helpful in no time! Took 1 email and a phone call to agree on a renewal and no time to have reply. I hope I will always have to communicate with her. Thanks Kate! You’re a legend!

GoogleWe moved in to a rental on the 26th of Feb 2022 just off Highbury fields. It was identified before the 26th February there was an issue with the bathroom floor. Water was leaking from somewhere in bathroom and the floor was going to need to be replaced or fixed. We were told this would be fixed in the first 3 months. On the 28th July 2022 (5 months later) our bathroom floor was ripped up and matting put down. The leak has been identified however not resolved. It is now the 29th November 2022 and still no floor (4 months later). See images attached. When we signed the lease we trusted this was going to be resolved. There has been poor communication from David Andrew. We do not know the landlord so do not understand the dynamic between themselves. We signed a lease expecting to have a fully functioning pleasant bathroom. This however has not been honoured. The landlord has refused any form of rental reduction. We have consistently asked for updates and solutions but it seems is to harder task. Very disappointing as such a lovely area and nice property. Advice to David Andrew: Manage expectations clearly from the offset. If you do not have a solution an update once a week would suffice. Do not promise something you cannot deliver.

GoogleWe've used David Andrew Estates for the better part of 17 years. Firstly to buy our flat. Then to rent it out. And finally to sell it. They've always provided outstanding service, been sensitive to our needs and the market conditions and a very helpful voice of reason and advice when we've needed it. We couldn't recommend them enough and we didn't even consider any other estate agents in the area.
