GoogleVery low quality of housing stock they offer. Worst in area. Our ceiling fell in. Also slow with tenant and landlord communication.

GoogleMalfunctioning boiler for over 2 months (winter) and a few dozen angry emails later, it's still the same... They're really good at ignoring and postponing tenant complaints so I guess if you're a landlord wanting to dodge your legal responsibilities, they're a good partner for you...

GoogleAs a foreigner I expected to have a couple of difficulties renting a flat in the UK. The paperwork and the formalities that come with renting a property were indeed discouraging. However, Giuseppe Sammarco and his colleagues helped me through every step of the way, finding solutions to problems I didn't anticipate and making everything less painful as possible given the circumstances. As to Giuseppe himself, I should note that he is not only an exceptional real state agent - after all I did close the deal right away, even though it was a little over my budget intentions - but he is a very kind human being. He went above and beyond his duties to help me, even though he was not at all obligated to, and for that I'm very thankful.

GoogleI rented my Flat out through David Andrew. We used them because of their excellent service and competitive pricing. We have listed our Flat before Xmas and it was a bit of a slow starter. During that period Asher supported me by doing a rental comparison/analysis to ensure market rent and how to make it more marketable. Once they find a suitable tenant, Asher was very professional on dealing with all the paperwork and sorting any queries ASAP, communicate/action all the steps/progress before the tenant get the keys. Overall, my experience with David Andrew was very positive and I like how responsive they were and were always on hand to help with my (many!!) queries. Thanks Asher. I will be using David Andrew again. I have already recommended David Andrew to a friends who has also instructed them to look after his Flat.

GoogleWouldn’t touch this firm. Am a landlord going through a divorce. Dealt with this firm before no problem. This time they went behind my back and rented property out on behalf of ex. Knowing that we are going through divorce/court and knowing that rent is due to be collected by solicitors. They have shafted me out of rent owed and given straight to ex despite me equal joint owner and them having this information. With solicitors now.

GoogleDavid Andrew were brilliant. By far the best estate agents I have dealt with. The process was quick and easy but most importantly, they didn't bombard us with hundreds of properties, just a few lovely places in the area we were looking so we didn't waste our time at pointless viewings. They also got us a great deal on the rental price and fees (Thanks Elliot and John!). I'll definitely be using them again when looking to rent again or buy a place. 10/10

GoogleGreat bunch of helpful people here. I live overseas and had a nightmare scenario with my previous agents - eHomes (in Swaffham) - who were stealing money from me for over a year (receiving rent from my tenant and not passing it on; refusing to return deposits to tenants etc)...The guys at David Andrew stepped in and went above and beyond to normalize the situation in a highly supportive and calm manner. Special shout outs to Asher and Theo.

GoogleI have been renting via David Andrew for a bit over two years and now renting second property through them. The team are friendly, helpful and efficient. All issues are resolved quickly without fuss. Fully recommend them if you are looking to rent a property.

Googlethe flat is perfect For us except one thing: on the add says clearly “TWO DOUBLE BEDROOMS”, but once we see the flat, the second room has only a SINGLE bed with an extramattess underneith. Right, the landlady says these exact words “oh no there will be a DOUBLE bed ready for you when you move in!” At this time there was me, my friend, the landlady and the letting agent Santa.August 2016 comes and we all move and with surprise we find in the second bedroom the same single. We called the agency right away and this was their response “we never said anything like that, you are lying.” Not to mention there was NO dining table and we had to buy it with our own money. And that’s when we should have run as far as possible from this bunch of cheap suits wearing so called letting agents. During our two year contract, every single time we had a problem it took MONTHS for someone to come and just see the problem and leave us with a “we will speak to the agency and come back to fix!” Yeah, that never happened.Give you a couple of examples: The toilet is separated:The one with the shower has no filter and no window, so obviously when taking a hot shower this will create mould, correct ? That is exactly what happened and all we had from the agency was : Open the windows of the bedrooms! Well of course, -10 outside in winter I’m going to keep my window open 24/7. We had mice in the apartment for MONTHS, they knew and NEVER sent anyone to help us, instead let us deal with it at our own expenses. The shower was leaking trough the ceiling down to the living room, all they did was send some random guy to put some silicon in the shower. Worthless to say, that was helpfull for 5 minutes.June 2018 we decide to leave due to personal reasons.So this is where it gets even worse: In mid July I send over ALL our final bills, attaching also the screen shots of our payments. On August 5th we leave the house and pay £425 for a deep cleaning with a company THEY reccomended. One week later we receive the final check out inventory: THE HOUSE IS NOT CLEANED PROPERLY, it says. Well, I asked for a good company that you would reccomend on purpose. in this check out inventory there are like 6-7 items missing, which, if whoever went to do the check out would have checked the cupboards would have found, rather than having a 26 email exchange with us and having to send someone else to find those items (which btw were cheap argos wall frames)In addition to this, we get accused of a wooden shelf missing in one of the rooms; THE SHELF WAS IN THE PICTURE THEY TOOK DURING FINAL CHECK OUT and they still tried to charge us for it And a phantom lamp missing that none of us has ever seen, £60?! A LAMP?! On top of it all, they charged us £120 for the check out fees which is apparently a ‘reasonable amount of money’ for someone to go take pictures and not even done properly. in all of this there is a radio silence of another week when at some point we decide to call them to find out the agent that takes care of us has had an accident and no one in 1 WEEK had the idea of picking up their job. At this point another week passes and finally someone else takes our case and Everything seems to finally be done when again, another week of radio silence due to the landlady who apparently is too busy to check her emails and answer. Finally the landlady emerges from her own ashes and guess what? She sents our depost back whit an extra £65 charge this time for a blind and a door step that have never been mentioned before (no mention of this phantom lamp anymore all pf a sudden). So obviously the landlady really needed those £65 as the £1625 she was earning from us on top of her salary CLEARLY was not enough to get by! Overall after a battle of over 40 emails, took us over a month to get our deposit back.I suggest you avoid this agency as they work as hard as possible to scum you with the landlord.also useless during your tenancy. Avoid.

GoogleI have worked with David Andrew Estates for over 20 years most usually with the Archway office who handle rentals for my portfolio of private landlords, and I have been consistently extremely satisfied with their service. They take instructions efficiently and get on with the job of letting my properties. They keep me updated at every stage of the process and have always given me good advice regarding rentals achievable according to market conditions. They have always found me good reliable tenants and dealt with every aspect of the process - referencing, tenancy agreements, deposit registration, inventory and check outs professionally. I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending them to landlords and tenants alike.

GoogleGiuseppe followed us since the first visit to the flat to the moment we collected the keys. He has been very helpful and friendly, always available when we had some question to ask and when we wanted to arrange a second viewing of the flat. He really took care of us during the whole process. Really recommended!

GoogleAs a new landlord, we chose David Andrew and haven't looked back. From the initial flat photography to getting our first tenants in, they've been 100% professional and making sure every question was answered and every box ticked. We dealt with Giuseppe and he's great at making sure we're being looked after all the way. Would definitely recommend DA to landlords to use as their agent.

GoogleI arranged to view property a with Giuseppe who was very friendly, professional and informative. Not only could he answer all questions about the property, he offered background information about the landlord and additional guidance on the cost of bills, the property market, the area and parking. He kindly allowed me to push the viewing back due to delays caused by snow and even took the initiative to show me another great property in the area before taking me back to the station. Giuseppe is definitely the nicest and most competent agent I have met during my property search.

GoogleSold our flat with David Andrew having moved from another big name nationwide estate agents who treated us poorly. Couldn't be happier with our decision to move, staff are great but we mainly dealt with Jeremy who was efficient, professional, did great viewing pitches and negotiated our buyer back up to asking price. David Andrew is a real local gem.
