GoogleI have recently sold my flat through Cromwells Estate Agents. I couldn’t have gotten a better service my sale was not straight forward and when I was faced with multiple issues I received the best advice and service. Hayley was handed my case when issues started to arise she was always calm, very friendly and positive. I was ready to give up on my sale but she persevered and the end result was my flat sale finally going through. I’m so grateful for her hard work as I think I would have pulled out. Now I’m in a position to buy my next home with my baby and that’s thanks to Cromwells and Hayley in particular. Ian, Orla and Phil were all very pleasant, professional and easy to deal with, unlike a lot of other estate agents we’ve used in the past. They sold our house for the price they said they could, with in the time they said they could. Very impressed and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

GoogleSiobhan from Cromwells was fantastic. Through this process we’ve learnt a key difference between estate agents is aftercare- some estate agents in the chain did very little to keep things progressing, whereas Siobhan kept chasing the chain, coming up with ideas where there was a problem and gave us regular updates. For us things got a bit more stressful unrelated to the sale, consequently if it hadn’t been for our confidence in Siobhan, that she would work tirelessly and strategically to overcome the obstacles within the chain, in all likelihood we would’ve pulled out.PositiveProfessionalism

GoogleI had initially contacted Cromwells when I wanted to rent my flat in Sutton. Sadly this was no longer an option so Phil came round to value our property. Often estate agents are given a bad reputation - this is not true of Phil or his team. From the moment he had finished talking us through the process, explained everything clearly and with integrity, we knew we would sign with Cromwells for the sale of my home. Phil, Ian and Theresa were always at the end of the phone, providing support (emotionally as well as about the sale) and nothing was too much to ask. They were on top of every question and query, liaised with all parties in our chain, chased solicitors and I felt completely looked after through what is a stressful process. Anyone questioning whether or not to go with this team, don’t - they are simply a dream to work with. Thank you Phil, Ian and co. GoogleI had put an offer on a property for sale with Cromwell Wallington. I waited for 14 days for a response. Since no one contacted me, I called them up today and I was told that another offer has been accepted. Without informing me if my offer has been accepted or rejected which is their legal obligation, they have gone and accepted another offer. Very disappointed with the kind of service these estate agents provide. Absolutely unprofessional.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism
At the time you made your offer you were clearly told the owner has just rejected an offer higher than the one you put in on the property and that the offer would not be accepted. You did not want to increase as you said and I quote "you would only offer £230,000 due to the works needed on the property". The owner happily accepted a higher offer. I'm sorry you feel you have to put in a bad review just because you missed out this property, but we tried to advise you at the time you submitted your offer. By law all offers have to be put forward to the owner so please feel free to increase your offer and I will put this to the owner. Many thanks. The Cromwells Team.

Sam was really professional, giving us a realistic valuation and listing our property on the market within 2 days of initial contact! The whole team kept us well informed at all stages between accepting the offer and completion. Special thanks to Hayley in sales progression who was absolutely amazing throughout. Unfortunately we didn't have the best solicitor, and trying to get an update was like trying to get blood from a stone, but Hayley always had the answers to our questions and if she didn't know would find out and update us the same day. GoogleSelling my house was not straightforward and I was glad to have Cromwells on my side. They were professional throughout, as well as helpful, friendly and responsive. Whenever there was a problem Cromwells were there to solve it and set the selling process back in motion. (Actually, a visit to their Wallington office was always a pleasure!) It took nearly a year to sell my house (thanks, Covid!) and Cromwells were supportive from start to finish. Whenever I rang them there was always somebody to respond, even if the person I wanted wasn't available. I never had to ring twice with the same query. Financially they were the best choice of estate agent (highest valuation, lowest commission) but the best reason for choosing them was the quality of the individuals who work there. GoogleWe recently sold our property via Cromwells in Wallington. What a breathe of fresh air it was to deal with real and honest agents for once. After shopping around and receiving several other valuations, we eventually decided on Cromwells. Although they didn’t give us the highest valuation, I just immediately clicked with the agent Sam. He gave me the time of day, despite how obviously busy he was, unlike other agents. I felt like I was seen as a person, not a % of commission. Cromwells arranged a seamless open day, where we received some immediate offers. After some consideration we eventually accepted the highest offer from a young couple. Sales progression was moving smoothly and then the COVID and stamp duty holiday storm hit! Despite being ‘off the market’ offers on our house continued to roll in, however my partner and I felt a moral obligation to honour our original buyer’s offer, which was echoed by the advice from Cromwells. This confirmed my reasons for choosing Cromwells in the first place. Anyone who has moved house knows how much of an arduous and emotional experience it can be and I’m glad we had the team at Cromwells helping us through it! I really can’t recommend them enough, especially for the honest people out there with integrity!PositiveProfessionalism
