GoogleFor international students, especially Chinese compatriots, it is recommended that you choose to live in a student apartment with a bill. If you live in a house recommended by such an agency, you will not have many happy days in a year. Spend more money to choose good accommodation. It's very worthwhile. Here, the employees are very enthusiastic and polite before signing the contract, but after signing the contract, they look completely different. When I come to a foreign country, I hope to study hard and experience life, rather than facing a big hole in the wall that has not been repaired for a long time. I don’t even want to mention the agency deposit. In short, if you choose cps home, I will choose a patience elective course. It is up to you whether you choose it or not. good luck.

GoogleAwful service If i could give no stars i would Asked to leave my home so open house could take place to sell my home so i did but in doing so due to bad weather i sat in my car outside . After an hour i noticed no one had been but wasnt told no one was coming . So after an hour freezing and soaked i went back in my house and called cps and simply said " what happened today" but expecting a reply of no one confirmed and we forgot to cancel. I was told open house went really well. Omg lied to my face . I then replied omg i was home and your not being truthful and was told they couldn't sell my home as it needs to much work..contracts were cancelled with cps and i put my home on facebook myself and had an offer in 20 mins on the following morning after cps cancelled.. Make up your own mind what youd think

Whilst we take your comments completely on board, I would like to confirm that the appointment of which you make reference to was indeed the third open-house that we had conducted at the property, which you were called to advise was cancelled. A message was left for you the day before to confirm that no appointments were going to be taking place. During our period of marketing we carried out numerous viewings of your property and you were provided with constructive and honest feedback as to why there were a lack of offers. It is unfortunate that you deem the feedback to insinuate that the property required too much work. We are delighted to hear that you have since sold your property after CPS Homes decided to release you from the terms of our agreement and wish you all the very best in your new home.

GoogleNice agents, but they do not care about what they sell. They sold me a flat, promised me a lot of changes and did not even make sure that these promises were kept by the landlord. In the end it has been an awful experience, and I cannot recommend them. Just a loss of money. I truly hope it was a one-time bad experience.

GoogleVery easy to deal with and made the entire process simple. Very friendly and engaging staff who went out of their way to help with my questions. Easy process from start to finish. Would definitely recommend and have used their services for two years now!

We had the misfortune of letting a property via CPS and the whole experience was an unpleasant one. The way they operate and treat tenants is despicable! We had quite a few issues with the property and on a number of occasions CPS sent their contractors around without giving us any notice, breaching their legal obligations. We had a major mice infestation which CPS failed to resolve in spite of us giving them many months do so! We had no option but to give notice to leave the property (whilst still in contract) and CPS were adamant that we would have to pay an early leave fee. Given the circumstances we refused to pay and CPS told us categorically that we either pay or they would take the money from our deposit! We said we would challenge this and they told us in no uncertain terms that we’d be unsuccessful.We were constantly in communication with CPS and we found them to be unsympathetic and condescending. The situation became unbearable.After we had moved out we put our case to the Deposit Protection Scheme and CPS did the same. The mediator considered both sides and we were delighted when DPS agreed with us and found that we had not acted unreasonably and that we should not have to pay anything at all for terminating our contract early.Our deposit was returned to us apart from a small fee for damage to a mattress.If you feel strongly about something do not be afraid to challenge it. CPS will have you believe that they are always right, but in reality this is not the case. Far from it!

Staff were really friendly and helpful. I was 20 mins early to my appointment but thar wasn't a problem, I was still seen straight away and they had all the forms ready. They were able to answer the questions I had, and I would definitely recommend them

CPS Homes have been extremely helpful throughout in finding and securing a flat. Communication was excellent - the whole process was clearly explained by Roberta, and she is always willing to answer any questions I have. CPS Homes have also been very accommodating to our needs, as both I and my partner are not based in Cardiff at the moment, and the arrangements to finalise the tenancy agreements and contracts have been scheduled in a way which minimises travel to the office in Cardiff until the tenancy begins, which we greatly appreciate.

YellRip off agency fees
Cpshomes charge extortionate agency feesand pressurise 1st year students into signing up immediately by suggesting they have 5 other viewings that day and if you don't sign up now., then you will lose the property. Students end up paying 25% of their rent +vat as an agency fee. Never to be seen again. No cooling off period.This can easily total £600 for one property and 30 minutes of effort from the arrogant agent.The Goverment is banning Agency fees yet Cpshomes still insist on ripping students off. Students avoid this agency at all cost!
