Myself and my partner are first time buyers and we popped into Countryside in Duttons Field Flintshire, we were kindly welcomed by Annabel who instantly made us feel comfortable she talked us through all of the houses and what they offer and all the process and told us everything we needed to know and answered all of our questions for us. Myself and my partner instantly knew this is who we wanted to buy our first home with. Since starting the process Countryside have been amazing with us, what we thought would be a difficult process they have made so easy for us and most of all we would like to thank Annabel at Countryside she has been beyond amazing with us and has been there for us every step of the way and continues to be, she has made this whole experience so relaxed and enjoyable for us. Our house is currently in the stages of being built so we are also currently in the stages of acting like excited little kids waiting for Christmas! I bought a Countryside house in Cheshire. It was my first house that I have ever bought so the reassurance and the way that Annabel guided me through the process was great. The design of the house was lovely and I visited a few different builders before I chose this one. After I moved in Paul and Chris the Site Managers were there so sort out any snags I needed and even helped me with my dog house! I would definitely buy from Countryside again

TrustpilotFleecehold / Leaseholders Beware
Properties are nice, quality seems good from my experience. However- Countryside have contributed to me being stuck in a Leasehold trap... escallating costs (service charges, maintenance charges, ground rent etc). The Ground Rent is also sold with an erroneous 'doubling every 15 years' clause... which can only be justified by greed. Many 'freeholds' on my estate- are also trapped as Fleeceholds... ie restrictive covenants placed onto their properties. Please be ware of Countrysides 'small print'- the sales agents will play down the above (as 'small maintenance charges') but they rapidly escalate and you will regret buying.

We are absolutely in love with our a First Home!!! Countryside were extremely helpful from start to finish. Both Lisa’s at Wren Green were fantastic ladies and made our lives so much easier whilst trying to sort everything. The quality of the home is amazing. Lots of people have commented on the design of the house and how well everything was done. Every niggle (although very few!) were sorted within a week of us moving in, if not already beforehand. Would definitely recommend to anyone who asks and we have already thought about which of the bigger houses we would like next!

Bought our ellesmere port property off plan a little over 18 months ago, (the dee), we found the sales team Penny and annabel very helpful even answering questions on their days off, there is no pushy sales and you are treated like a friend, which in viewing other new build companies before I found those to be very aggressive with trying to push a sale, you won't get any of this with countryside. Moving day came, bang on time everything went to plan, small list of normal snags which were very quickly fixed in the same week of moving in. Again all the builders and site manager I found very helpful and friendly, always took their shoes off at the door ect. We love our new home and I couldn't recommend this company enough. We bought our Countryside home in Cheshire as we were relocating from Gloucestershire and it is one of the best things we have ever done! We found Countryside purely by accident after looking at other new builds and there was no comparison due to the build quality and the fixtures and fittings that were built in as standard! We met Penny (sales rep) who steered us through our purchase, one of the friendliest and kindest people we have ever met, so knowledgeable who gave clear, concise information but never at any time applied any pressure to purchase our Countryside home! Her colleague Annabel (sales rep) who we got to know later was just like Penny, both so professional and approachable and never too busy to answer any queries we may have had!Off course like any new home we had minor snagging issues but these were dealt with by Countryside competently and professionally in a short space of time! We love our house which was built to an extremely high standard and from the experience we have had would definitely recommend Countryside!

Amazing!! From Lisa and her colleagues to the guys on site, our experience of the team at Wren Green has been fantastic. Anyone whose ever moved house will know the associated ups and downs but we can honestly say that it was seamless from viewing our house at short notice to completion within 4 weeks. Nothing was too much trouble for Lisa, she has been both professional and approachable at all times, going out of her way to help us. We must also mention Tom and Stuart who really did pull out all the stops when our removal company couldn’t get our sofa into the lounge, they came round and within 10 minutes it was in situ, I’m sure there aren’t many development sites that offer that kind of customer care!!Thank you guys your fantastic

We bought our new house from countryside at Wren Green. I have to say, from start to finish countryside have been excellent!The sale's girls Lisa and Angela have been brilliant, helping us right through the purchasing process, extremely friendly and kind at all times. Tom on site was very helpful too, he sorted out two very minor snags promptly. Our house is fantastic, really well built, to a very high standard, inside, and out. No interaction has been good. Sales team were extremely rude and used scare tactics to pressure us as first time buyers. So many problems with the house and our neighbours houses, very unhelpful in explaining about the lease and what it meant it was just glossed over. They just showed up in our garden occasionally for a while as if to remind us we didn't own the land. Even now 3 years on I've been emailing and phoning for 4 months with a query on ground rent and nobody will respond or take ownership. I don't even know who now owns our lease

Couldn’t ask for a better process of buying my house from countyside at Wren green. Angie and Lisa were so lovely and made the whole thing simple and enjoyable. As a first time buyer I was worried about the whole process and after previous chats with other ‘over pushy’ sales advisors from other building company’s i didn’t have much hope but these ladies were amazing! I would 100% recommend and would definitely buy another house with them in the future!

This is my first new build home and I couldn’t be happier. From my first contact with the Abbotsfield site, Angie was friendly, courteous and very informative, even though the process of selling my own home was a bit of a nightmare. Katherine in Sales Progression contacted me on a regular basis to make sure everything was alright. As one of the early ones to move in on this site, Rachel was there to make sure I understood all the paperwork and what happened next. Any snags have been completed by friendly and cooperative workman, who still say hello when they see me. I have read the reviews about other sites, but can only say that I can not fault the staff at Abbotsfield. My experience with Countryside has only been positive and I would recommend them to family and friends.

TrustpilotTypical business wants money off people never mind the cost of other people
They arrange builders to build new homes but they do not care for any damage that happens to vehicles in the process and when you contact the office to tell them that there builders have caused you damage to your vehicle they give you the answer of "how do you know it was them" well when i finish at work at 6am and the only damage happens from there site entrance where they leave small sharp screws laying around in a road. The roast that only has 1 entrance for residents and builders which thay have laid for us to use to enter and exit. then a screw from the entrance ends up in your motorcycle tyre and the site manager himself says it looks like they dropped a few on the way out and admits to the mistake then that would be how I know its them but your just typical money grabbers happy to benefit yourselfs with more income not matter the cost of other residents and when things do get damaged you'll always find a way to blame someone else

Foundry Gardens - Haywards Heath Awful experience. Property was rushed for completion (end of their financial year). Unacceptable amount of snags, which took forever to get sorted and required repeated chasing. Management don't appear to be interested. Since moving in at the end of September, we are still waiting for all the following: • Communal garden is unfinished and heavily waterlogged as a result of poor drainage. • Surrounding landscaping unfinished and used for material storage for the next build phase. Looks worse than the local tip. • Footpath bollard lighting not installed, we still have orange pipes sticking out of the ground. • Streetlighting doesn't work. Need torches to go out at night. We have been given repeated assurances and deadlines for the above, which come and go, but there appears to be no real commitment from Countryside to get this finished. Priority appears to be to sell the next phase, rather than deliver fully on what has already been paid for.
