Couldn’t be more helpful!

We reserved our Ashop home this weekend at Abbotsfield and Justine has been amazing through it all! We had previously had bad experiences with new build developers and were constantly made to feel like we were asking too many questions and wasting their time, but after registering our interest with the Abbotsfield site, Justine met with us the next day and got rid of all of our doubts and fears. The thing am always worried about is the after sales, once they have the money. Excited for our next home!

We have today reserved our property with Countryside, the help so far has been brilliant. Rachel has been helping us find our next family home, we were firstly interested in 'The New Ashbourne' so Rachel showed us around the show home and it is gorgeous, the specification of the property was lovely and the storage space is also very handy. We were going to go ahead with this property but after sleeping on it we felt we needed a different layout and more space. Rachel was great and advised us to not rush in to anything as it needs to be the right decision. We decided 'The New Walton' may be a better option for us however, the only show home for this property is in Liverpool. Rachel offered to do a virtual viewing via 'WhatsApp' the same day for us, it was so easy and all our questions were answered. We have now found our next home and we are so excited to move in. I have also dealt with Sian today who has also been extremely helpful. Nothing is to much to ask, we have not been rushed to make a decision and there has been so much help and advise already. We are now looking forward to our next appointment to confirm the options we have for the interior. Thanks again to Rachel & Sian :)

Happy 1st time buyers.

Me and my partner was first time buyers purchasing from wards keeps. The sales team, from day 1 even before we reserved was very professional and polite. We completed our full reservation in March 2020 (right before the 1st lockdown) and we completed in January 2021. This to us was a longtime but was in no way countrysides fault as due to covid-19. All throughout the waiting period we was kept well informed by the sales team and in the end, it was worth it. The house was finished to a high standard and we couldn’t be happier with it, of course we have had minor snags but there’s are being dealt with in a timely manner working with the current covid-19 restrictions. I’m confident all my snags/issues will be sorted. Overall countryside is a great company, that employees a great friendly team to support buyers. The houses speak for them self! They are beautiful.

We have recently reserved a house at Dutton fields with countryside properties and have been so happy with the service we have received. We travelled from Manchester to view the show homes on site and were able to view all of the show homes and then had a chat with the lovely sales advisor Sian, with the current covid situation we felt fully safe and all guidelines were stuck to perfectly. Sian has been so helpful in recommending morgage advisors and solicitors for us and has done everything in her power to make sure we have the choices of kitchen and bathroom tiles etc for us even though the house had previously been reserved and choices had been made. We can’t wait to move into our gorgeous house and keep in contact with Sian throughout the process.

OUR BUILDING IS A FIRE RISK

Countryside Properties built our property and do not even respond to communications regarding the failings with their build. Our building is a death trap. Inadequate fire protection and flammable materials used. It is quite disgraceful that Countryside Properties think they can build something and refuse to acknowledge any problems with it. We will continue to pursue them. We don’t want to be the next victims of poor build quality. You need to engage Countryside Properties. Don’t wait until the next tragic disaster like Grenfell.

Hiw do they sleep at night with their bulging bank balances whilst victims of the cladding scandal go bankruptAt Berber Parade, London, SE18, we have no cladding but several other issues which contravened standards at time of build. And Countrysude Prooertues refuse to even enter into dialogue. Don't buy from these people

My advice to all potential purchasers…

My advice to all potential purchasers is to do a lot of ground work before buying off this developer. Don’t rush and be sucked in by the glossy brochures the sales staff spiels and the promises of your perfect property. My experience is poorly trained sales staff, sales managers, that will mislead, and do anything to sell you the house to get their figures in for the month and gain their commission, and sell you a dream that doesn’t meet purchasers expectations. Items not on plans, drawings, and site plans in the sales office when you reserve your plot, then finding out when you are due to move in within a few weeks you find a Gas Governor right outside your lounge window on a patch of grassed area that the sales staff were advised was the occupiers. (Abington Place) Northampton. (Tried to cover this up)White goods missing from your properties as the management can’t decide who’s job it is to order them, whilst the customers face total turmoil when arriving to move in. Floors not level in a Bathroom and no one knows why, and we are told not to say anything hoping the purchasers won’t notice. (Eaton FIelds, Nuneaton). Doors not fitting properly, landscaping plans not adhering to drawings sales staff have in offices. Garage doors being painted on the day customers moving in wet paint everywhere then the rain falls all over it ruining the paintwork, making all the work to be done again. Customers waiting months for customer services to adhere to there commitment to warranty and not coping due to the amount of complaints. Leaks in purchasers rooms, plasterwork unfinished, alarms not working, a lot not even wired in, My advice to this company is to keep things simpler, don’t over complicate your properties and get your quality and standard of finish much better, and keep your purchasers happy with your product Customer satisfaction is the basic corner stone of every business. They make their properties look beautiful with their designs with extensions on the rear with velux windows, it all looks stunning in pictures and brochures and on the internet, but in reality, their quality of workmanship is extremely poor and customers are left devastated and unhappy.Once they have your money, they seem very reluctant to repair the issues they have created with any haste or speed. The industry needs a complete overhaul and quality assurance officers appointed to inspect every house before any purchasers are handed over any Keys. I am certain if all these chief executives, sales managers, sales directors bought new and expensive Range Rovers from a dealership they would be the first in the queue taking it back, complaining bitterly, and stamping their feet and authority to the dealership and to LandRover directly, either demanding their money back, or being compensated for the inconvenience of their time and trouble yet when you are buying a new home from Countryside they almost think it’s ok and acceptable. Trust me it’s not!!! It’s outrageous and should be stopped. Take my advice do your home work, when buying a new home, Ask specific questions, relating to your home, get everything at full reservation in writing ie: copies of drawings, site plans, take photos on your phone, refer back to them, and don’t take anything for granted. BEWARE !!!!! Read all the negative feedback as well as the good. And GOOD LUCK.

Middlebeck site at Newark…

Went to the Middlebeck site at Newark only a few days ago. We were informed the previous appointment had run over a little, which we were understanding about, and still went ahead to view the show homes (which were mediocre at best). We then returned half an hour later to be informed they were still deciding what flooring they wanted etc. We were then told to wait in a show home for the previous appointment to be finalised. We waited a further 15 minutes in the show home before deciding enough was enough. 45 minutes since the start of our appointment and we still hadn’t spoken to a sales person. Awful time and customer management. What a pitiful way to lose a potential cash buyer.
