The Countryside development in Kirkbymoorside is an excellent choice of location, with a good mix of different types of properties. We had 5 star treatment. Sam could not have treated us better, he is very knowledgeable about everything relating to the development and properties; his expertise shines through. Sam is a pleasure to deal with and an excellent representative for Countryside Developments. I am looking forward to seeing my property completed and moving in.

Bought our second property with Countryside. Our sales consultant Megan was super helpful and very friendly. She made our process as easy as possible and the communication was spot on. Buying off plan was quite daunting but we are so happy we decided on our home. Megan gave us confidence and re-assurance which was needed and did everything she could to help us. All the staff at countryside have been great.The spec they offer is like no other developer and we would 100% recommend them to anyone looking to buy.

My wife and I have newly settled down in the UK. The Sales Consultant LISA & PENNY were very friendly and helpful in finding our new home. They always show their expertise knowledge and help us to know the whole process in detail. Also, they are patient to let us know the what was going on in spite of the difference of language and living cultures. Ha, ha, as a result, I think they need to spend more time in serving us.

Sales team at Middlebeck in Newark, Donna especially, could not be more helpful or amenable. Even after completion they have been checking up on me, that I am happy, and following through with any questions I have, even though it is no longer their remit.The build is good quality and any little snagging issues I have had they have resolved to a really high level.Their willingness to make the buyer happy is to be admired as is their willingness to deliver a product that not only are they happy with, but that the customer is also happy with.From my experience I would whole-heartedly recommend countryside to anyone.Rob

Having brought a property from countryside in July 2018 I can strongly advise you to avoid this company.Customer service team is dreadful. An example is we had a lead feature under a window which was bowed out when they eventually came out they just hammered it back leaving it covered in dents. Once I complained and they eventually came out again they just put filler on it which is clear to see. They would not replace.Another example on the day of arriving at the new property the carpets were all stained to which they sent carpet cleaners out three times which did not resolve the issue but still refused to replace.Now 3 years on from the orginal purchase and we have mold/damp starting to appear in a section of the house which is due to a construction fault. Countryside will not resolve the issue due to the warranty being out of the initial 2 year warranty period, even though it's due to their poor construction of the property.Avoid this company and save yourself alot of hassle.

The sales team has done an excellent job and the location is exactly what I wanted at Rochester Riverside. However, there are quite a few defects that haven't been looked at after raising the issues for 2 months now. And I just got an fairly unprofessional email from the head of customer service, quote "when your property was handed over, there was not a crack in the window frame unit" And this has happened to other neighbors nearby, so it's also my fault that others' window cracks too?! think twice before you buy something not "off- the shelf" like the window(quote from the head of CS).

01.09.2021 updateThe response from countryside below has asked I email group, 3 times the same email has been sent to group customer services, local customer services and the Managing Director.I have again forwarded the original email with pictures just now.I look forward to the response and resolution.Original complaint:They have a new development in Nuneaton, baberton Grange. The homes look beautiful and the development seems to have a nice layout where houses are not on top of each other.The Show homes and landscaped gardens look stunning as always however it is disappointing that this care with the landscaping has not been carried through to the entrance of the development. The entrance is very underwhelming, especially for a company called countryside that is bordering the stunning surrounding fields of Nuneaton. I must have seen around 6 / 7 dead looking trees to the front and it seems that a minimal attempt has been made to make the front on plough hill road look as nice as the surrounding area, patches of grass are missing and the embankment to the brook has been left in a poor state. Old fences and bushes remain in place along the front on plough hill road as you turn into the show homes, it’s a shame it has been left like this and that it doesn’t match the rest of the development and area. Other developers in the area have taken time to ensure the frontage looks presentable. As a new home builder they have disturbed lots of natural land and the least they could do is make as much effort making the area look as nice and kept as they do with the show home gardens.Comments had been made to local customer services, group customer services and the MD, it seems this is not a priority as no response has been received.

We viewed a property in Middlebeck, Newark and Donna from the Sales Team was very helpful and kind to arrange a very last minute appointment for us. She explained everything very clearly and took her time to show us around even though it was almost the end of the work day. We were advised to think thoroughly and didn't feel pushed a sale even though it was the last property available of the phase in the development. We are in the process of making an offer and going ahead with the reservation and I am sure it will be a great experience from beginning till the end. Thank you for all your help!
