GoogleWe weren't Bryn's client, but we were the buyers of a flat listed with him. He was accommodating and professional, and we're grateful he helped us find our dream home. In fact, we wouldn't have seen the place to begin with if it weren't for his gut sensing we'd love it.

Everything was clear and well-organised, so the move-in went very smoothly. Most importantly, I always felt protected and looked after during the deal, they made sure all my questions were answered and that I was comfortable at every step. GoogleBeware renting from Cluttons, poor maintenance and unfair deposit deductions in my experience. We rented through Cluttons for just under 3 years. During that time we had several long-running issues:, The water tank had to be replaced three times after contractors damaged it, causing leaks into the flat below and leaving us without hot water for extended periods., A significant roof leak took over 9 months to repair. This led to mould and part of the ceiling collapsing. It was eventually fixed, but around a year passed between us first reporting the problem and it being fully resolved. Despite this, we always paid our rent on time, never threatened to withhold rent, and remained polite and cooperative throughout. When we moved out, we were presented with a £648 deduction from our deposit. We had the flat professionally cleaned by a cleaner we’ve used for around five years, and we also repainted. The check-out report flagged the oven and shower head as needing additional cleaning. We were then told an “emergency clean” had been carried out for around £300, and that cleaning pigeon mess from the very small balcony would cost about £348, together totalling £648. In my view these charges are excessive and disproportionate to the work required, and I did not feel they reflected the true condition of the property at check-out. We are now taking the matter to the Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS) dispute resolution service. Based on our experience, I would urge prospective tenants to think carefully before renting through Cluttons.

GoogleVery irresponsible, we arrived the viewing place finding out nobody was there, and leasing agent just went AWOL, not picking up calls nor WhatsApp message nor email. We were trapped in the property for 30mins trying to figure where / which is the exact flat we are viewing.

After investigating the situation, we understand there was a communication breakdown. Our agent emailed in the afternoon to reconfirm the appointment and attended the viewing at 6pm. When they couldn’t locate you, they rang the number we have on file, but it appears there were technical issues with phone connectivity, and it didn’t go through. After they couldn’t make contact, they left. We take all viewings seriously and would never intentionally miss an appointment. We would welcome the opportunity to reschedule your viewing at a time convenient for you - please contact our office directly so we can make further arrangements.

GoogleVery poor service by Clinton’s in Chelsea, insist on using their own contractors and surveyors for jobs who charge excessively, their contractors did a very poor job and were also rude to me on several occasions.
