GoogleVery poor experience from the start. When reporting issues, response times are poor, work always takes much longer to arrange than they should , thats if they are arranged at all. We were allowed to move in to the property with heavy mould/damp issues and broken cabinets - which took 6 months to fix. We also had the gas cut off for 2 days because there was a live gas leak in the property and a gas fire they didn't even know about. The workmen used by the agents constantly complete work to substandard, requiring further visits and inconvenience - one issue can take 4 or 5 visits and thats being generous Often the tone of emails are quite rude and we have had at a point, the pleasure of having the director Kemal shouting at us down the phone (as we were seen as difficult for trying to arrange repairs to a leaking roof, mould and a broken front door. Find it very it very challenging to deal with this company, they always have a come back and you always feel like they are selling you. Would advise both landlords and tenants to avoid in response to your reply....no, I do not find it challenging, however I do find it reflective of the tone and approach that your company has taken to its ongoing relationship with us as tenants (Condesing and passive aggressive are words that I would use in this instance) if only vacating your home, the financial implications, the impact upon working arrangements were as easy as getting in touch forthwith

Thank you for taking the time to write this review, although we disagree with much of your email. During our interactions with you and your partner, we have been respectful at all times and whilst we could detail the interactions we have had with you and your partner during the last 3.5 years that you have been living in the property, it would not be professional of us to do so. We are however astonished that you feel so strongly about your negative experience but have chosen to reside in the property for such a long period of time, given there are and have been many opportunities to vacate the property. If you would like to terminate your tenancy, please contact your property manager forthwith, I hope you do not find this challenging!

GoogleJack from CKB was professional and prompt in replying to any questions I had, updating me with the status and he was pleasant in person when conducting room viewing. Helen in the Sydnam office was very helpful when I handed in a copy of IDs. Michelle was super efficient in chasing required papers from service suppliers and managed to get the job done in time. Cracking team!

We transferred to CKB after our house sale fell through with a different estate agents 5 months after the offer was accepted. Within 4 months from advertising it was completed and sold Cengiz, Andy, Sharn and Sophie dealt with us along the way, they were all extremely helpful and kept us informed along the way. They made the situation as stress free as possible which I greatly appreciate.

TrustpilotFlat wasn't ready, and a parking mix up
We rented a flat from CKB Estate Agents in the winter of 2021. When we moved in, none of the radiators worked, and so the first night's sleep I could see my own breath. I had to stay somewhere else for the next night before someone came to fix it. Surely someone comes to check the flat is ready to live in before we start paying our rent? Whilst this was all going on, I got multiple messages from CKB asking us to leave them a review - not great timing really! The advert stated that there was off-road parking which was crucial to us. After parking our car on the drive, a neighbour told us it wasn't out drive to park on. CKB said it was the landlady's fault, and the landlady blamed CKB. Whilst I think it was probably the landlady's fault, it was a shame their first reaction was to point the finger at someone else rather than help us resolve the situation. When we were moving out, we had to tell them a couple of times to remove the same parking info off the new advert, so the next tenants didn't have to go through the same problem!

GoogleI have been Overwhelmed by the Help given to by Jack at the Eltham Branch in finding a suitable rent for me. I feel he has gone beyond the scope to given me the best possible options in patience and help whilst I'm working a full time Job. I have found this type of Service really refreshing in such a difficult time. He has been Highly Professional while being Very Friendly and Polite.
