GoogleThe agents at Church and Hawes are experienced and know their local market well. They are both professional and friendly in their dealings with clients. The quality of their photos was good, as was their marketing and feedback in general. Their house descriptions are based on facts rather than flowery opinions. I have also used them as my letting agents for many years and always found them reliable.

GoogleSelling a house can be stressful at the best of times. It's even worse if you live over 300 miles from the property which is in extreme disrepair amid a wildly overgrown garden. That's when an estate agent can make a difference. Rob at Church and Hawes was excellent from the site visit at the start through various explanations of sale potential and checking out likely buyers based on their recent commitments and building profile. That personal local knowledge was invaluable in avoiding open market visits, searches, varying offers and possible drop-outs. Throughout, we were regularly kept informed of progress and advised as to getting the best price in the shortest time. Thank you for completing the sale with no need for our second visit to the distant property. This was a superb service - we could not ask for better. Peter Thomas

GoogleExcellent and professional service provided by Church & Hawes Estate Agents in Danbury. On visit + valuation Kevin Atterbury (assistant manager) was friendly, very experienced, helpful and explained everything involved in the proposed valuation, marketing and sale of our property. I also spoke to other agents locally, but Kevin was so well prepared and efficient, it was an easy decision who to go with. We must accept it is a very difficult market with soaring mortgage rates and falling prices. Despite this, Kevin and later Rob Blake (manager) continued to market the property and pursue a sale. During the viewing and later sale process, communication was excellent and specialist advice, resulting from decades of experience, provided invaluable insight and help to us. Having now 'exchanged contracts' on the sale, we are very happy with the service we have received over the last several months. I would, without hesitation recommend Rob + Kevin to deal with your house sale. They most definitely earned their commission on the sale. Top Team, many thanks !! Mr James + Mrs Janette BOYD

GoogleThe somewhat stressful experience of moving house when you are in your eighties was made much easier with the help of Kevin and the team at Church and Hawes. They were always at hand if a problem occurred and did a very professional job of presenting and selling the house.

GoogleKevin and the team went the extra mile on my sale, it wasn’t an easy and straight forward process. I probably drove them round the bend ringing all the time but they were patient and took it all in their stride. Everything turned out good and I am thankful for their hard work and patience, I would thoroughly recommend using Church & Hawes.

GoogleVery pleased with our interactions with Church & Hawes Burnham on crouch. David Watson was our main contact and was very professional and easy to work with. The whole team did a wonderful job in communicating and ultimately selling our home, whilst selling our new home to us. We have never been happier with a house and we thank them from the bottom of our hearts for doing their best to ensure we completed the sales. We would highly recommended David and his team.

GoogleExcellent service from David at Burnham on crouch and the young lad that originally showed us the property. Can't praise the office highly enough. 10/10. Very professional. Would definitely recommend.

GoogleNot very happy at all, they do a credit checks with HomeLet which they use an old method and not an update system for credit checks. We have a good credit score with Experia, and they let us down with a bad score. Credit score it should be one and the same. Also lost our money and the house! Waste of time and money. Why people go to them, when you can save money, when you can go direct with the landlord? Avoid this company!!

GoogleWe had a protracted sales process, due to my own health reasons. Church & Hawes were undaunted and were professional and efficient all the way through. It helps that they are a small team who work for each other to get the job done. Well done to Rob W., Rob B., Kevin and (last but not least) Claire.
