Carnabys were the Managing Agents for a property that we rented in Burgess Hill for three and a half years. From the initial viewing to the end of the tenancy, the team were professional, friendly, courteous, efficient and most of all they are great people! The worst thing about being a tenant can sometimes be dealing with managing agents, being stung with lots of charges when going through the referencing process to the end of tenancy check out. Carnabys restored any doubt in my mind that there are good managing agents out there! They were always a pleasure to speak to and always had time to talk to you. If you had any problems or queries you knew that they would be dealt with and resolved in a professional manner, or any messages would be responded to straight away. You can feel safe knowing that they are experts in their field, with broad and up to date knowledge of current legislation. If you are a Landlord looking to appoint Agents then from a tenants perspective I couldn't recommend them more! I can only speak from a renting perspective but I'm sure that the Sales team will be on the same great standard.

I've had an excellent experience buying a property through Carnaby's despite the purchase itself being quite lengthy due to some unexpected probate issues. The quality of the communication and the effort put in by James Potten and his colleagues to keep things on track was exceptional and he was always willing to go the extra mile with chasing up additional parties to get a current update on outstanding items. This was particularly invaluable to me as I was not permitted to contact the solicitors of other parties directly and it was helpful not to have to rely solely on my solicitor for feedback on the situation. I hope to not be moving for some time. But if and when I do I'm definitely going to be using Carnaby's in the future!

We have dealt with Carnaby's twice in the last 10 years. On both occasions they have been open, honest and transparent with their valuation and sales service. The asking price was achieved as both the agent and we were realistic. Of course we would like to have achieved a higher value, who wouldn't, but you have to be realistic, then you get a buyer.
James Potten has been fantastic. We have had to sell a property on behalf of someone else and James has been compassionate and diplomatic at stages of the sale. We would highly recommend James and Carnaby's, they are simply brilliant at what they do. We have had total trust in them at all times.
