GoogleCapital in Sidcup are by far the best estate agents I have ever dealt with. It makes so much difference having such an approachable team to help get through this very difficult process. Thank you Paul and Adam for your patience and guidance from valuation through to completion. Amazing! Highly recommend.

GoogleHighly disappointing experience. I had a property viewing with Liberty, one on their agents. On the viewing day I was asked to move earlier my appointment because Liberty the agent couldn’t make at the time we previously agreed. Later she text me saying she’s was in a traffic jam and she’ll let me know once she get there. I keep waiting for her down the building entrance for half an hour. I tried to call to get an update, send a message but no reply after 30 minutes waiting. Later on I see people getting into the building but no text or called received from the agent. Same people come back downstairs and one of them surprisingly is the agent. She said that she was unable to show me the flat anymore because seems to have some issues in getting access to it. To the team, it’s important that you understand that people don’t care if you’re sorry or any other excuses you made up after you mess with their time. You should just say that you were unprofessional, rude in not reply and not calling back after a client tried to reach you more than couple of time. You were late and after you arrived there, you didn’t bother to check on people waiting for your ‘being late’. No communication at all. You definitely do not know the basic of doing business and how to treat clients. Shame on you!

GoogleHaving worked with Capital for years and years Rob and his team are some of the only people we trust in a tough Business. Some firms are so poor to deal with that it shouldn’t be hard to please but as Estate Agents and as people Capital are shoulders above many of the others we know. We know Capital as fair, honest and hardworking.

GoogleMoving into the area, while juggling a new job and commuting, Capital Estate Agents were always helpful, flexible and responsive. Using websites and tools to handle the administrative bits, leaving Liberty and her colleagues to be available to be there when needed. I have been very impressed with the service, including follow-ups to show that they really care, while being efficient and professional.

We dealt with both Derek for a viewing and Liberty during the process of securing the tenancy Both agents were very professional and pleasant people. The viewing was relaxed, professional, and accommodating The process of securing the tenancy was very easy as well. Agents were always responsive via email, text message, and phone call. Able to answer all questions and concerns, and dealt with the few complications that arose in a very professional manner. All that was needed from us was to stay in contact via email, and they sorted everything else. Would highly recommend, and will be my first choice if or when I need another letting agent

GoogleWould highly recommend Paul & his team at the Sidcup office. Despite difficult circumstances, they secured a buyer for the property, and processed the sale perfectly. Attention to detail & communication were faultless , nothing was too much trouble . Bought & sold a few properties over the years & this was definitely the smoothest & effortless transaction

GoogleI have used Capital to manage my rental property for over nine years now, and can honestly say I've always had great service from them. The most important thing for me is that my tenants are happy with their home, and that any problems are resolved speedily. First of all Paul, and more recently Katie and Hannah (amongst others), have always kept me up to date with any issues requiring attention (most recently a faulty washing machine, which they managed to get replaced in a matter of just a few days, and in the pre-Christmas period too!), and have always been efficient as well as friendly. I am sure my tenants appreciate this too!

GoogleDo not use Capital as a lettings agent. Communication - non existing. We personally met Rob and the team and was so impressed by the 'sales pitch' but once you sign the contract all of this disappears. Heaven forbids things start to go wrong and the tenant causes a nuisance or stops paying - you'll be on your own as a landlord. Even with rent insurance in place it will be a constant checking and chasing Capital Lettings, nothing happens pro-actively. Tenant - didn't pay rent for 5 months, eventually left overnight leaving us with outstanding bills, dirty flat, damaged and broken items, a jungle of a garden. Capital Lettings has been extremely unhelpful and did not do a single thing to put the flat back in the exceptional state we handed it over to them. We since found out the tenant has been evicted from properties in the past so not sure how good the checks were Capital Lettings were supposed to do. Property visits - according to the agreement you sign with them they will do frequent visits / inspections of the property and report back. They didn't. Inspections you pay extra for are not worth the piece of paper they're written on - you will pay extra for the inspection before the tenant moved in and after. There are loads of pages and photos but the 2 doesn't compare like for like. It's like someone went in as a tick box exercise took random photos, did not even include visually broken stuff, picture quality and lighting was poor. Even though their maintenance person gave an estimate of £1000 to fix the obvious damages they continue to be uninvolved and unresponsive - it's now 7 months down the line, they simply don't respond to emails. We were first time, fair, obviously naive, landlords. This experience has put us off ever letting a property out again. Financially it's put us back, a flat we loved and lived in 7 years ourselves has lost it's charm, then there is the stress and anxiety caused by the situation. Just don't do it, find another lettings agent! One that will support you when things go wrong as well.

GoogleJoe and the team helped us buy our house in Bromley. It was in very challenging conditions for us with pregnancy well on the way and a real pressure to close. Like every deal there were challenges but he managed to navigate through it, kept a level head and successfully close. Patient , tenacious and focused , attentive and understanding. Highly recommend working with Joe and Capital agents. All the best.
