Cala homes' painter, George Fisher is truly a professional. We had some wall surface flaking issue and he responded promptly. 3 layers of coating to each of damaged areas and 2 layers of painting after sanding. The job was well organised, clean and tidy, perhaps the neatest work I have ever seen. Well done! George.

Further to my recent review and Cala’s response yesterday. Cala replied about the replacement door. However, my review was not about the door. It was concerning Cala’s failure to address the points I raised in my formal complaint and their inability to follow their own complaints procedure. This is a recurrent feature of my correspondence with Customer Care over the past two years. They ignore the customers main complaint and do not answer the points raised in emails. Another example of Cala Customer Care’s total disregard for their customers.

From the first contact with the team at Cedar Brae, Laurence and Sarah, we were made to feel like we were in safe hands. They were incredibly helpful and accommodating with us, especially being first time buyers and the stress and worries that come with that. Throughout the process from first viewing all the way to completion we were kept up to date with progress of our home and were made to feel like we were never a burden when we had questions. Laurence and Sarah’s warm presence and genuine care for their clients made our whole experience exciting and memorable. Even after moving into our home, they still check in to see if we need anything from them or Cala. Thank you guys so much!

We moved into our new Cala home at Cornhill Village in June 2025. Nearly a year on, we have logged 96 defects. We understand that in new builds some issues arise but what is not acceptable is being lied to and ignored.

Andy Galloway came in to sort out my joinery work this morning and was a gentleman from start to finish. He turned up on time, was very personable and worked swiftly through my list of items to rectify. He obviously takes pride in his work and even sorted things I would never have known to get fixed! He is a credit to Cala and further complements my overall great experience I have had throughout my home buying/living experience with Cala.

Thanks to customer services the personnel have a tough job dealing with so many issues & probably some frustrated customers. Also to a couple of Cala painters Neal & George a credit to the company who after meeting would leave with keys do whatever job in my house knowing I'm safe.
