I was initially very sceptical in adding a second agent to our house sale listing, as I did not think another agency could do anything different, but so glad I went with it. Our house was on the market for several long months, and as soon as David took the listing, everything worked very quickly. The first people that David brought through our door, put the offer on the house that we accepted. From start to finish it took about two month, and I felt really looked after on the way.
Communicating with David was so reassuring all the time, no matter what time of the day, late evening or even Sundays, David always responded, and I really appreciated the non fluffy communication style. Overall, I am incredibly grateful to David and his team for making this quick and successful sale, very impressive.
And I am also very grateful to Hayley for managing everyone and aligning all parties that were involved in the chain once it was established. Her calm and very quick responses made me feel very reassured, and I felt she was moving the chain to the completion really well.

GoogleAwful experience buying our first property through Bridges in Ash. Unfortunately, as first-time buyers, we had no choice but to use them.
I had expected estate agents to be a bit pushy, but I did not expect to be shouted at over the phone! It was incredibly unprofessional and left a really sour taste during what should have been an exciting time.
I submitted a formal complaint to their HR team advertised on their website and chased it four times over eight weeks. I only received a response after CCβing the area manager. The explanation I was given was that my emails had βgone to junk,β which felt like a very weak excuse. When my complaint was finally addressed, I was told the individual was βsorryβ and βdidnβt mean for it to come across that way.β.. She knew what she was doing (trying to intimidate us).
On the first day in our new home, we met our next door neighbour- who happened to be selling through Bridges - and the very first thing she asked was, βHowβs your experience been with Bridges?β She then told us sheβd had almost the exact same experience with the same individual.. and wouldnβt be using them again. It was oddly validating after being completely disregarded for weeks!
When we eventually sell, we will be avoiding Bridges at all costs, and we strongly urge others to consider alternative agents as well.

The application did not proceed because the income declared at the point of offer differed materially from the income verified during referencing. This discrepancy resulted in you failing the referencing process. Despite this, we offered assistance with an appeal, which you chose not to pursue. All fees were refunded in full.
Any suggestion of discriminatory behaviour is entirely unfounded. We take such allegations extremely seriously, and there is no evidence to support them. Decisions were based solely on verified financial information, not personal characteristics.
