Facebookbear was actually working on behalf of our vendor but were actually instrumental in getting the entire transaction done. Their Senior Sales Progressor Wendy Baily could not have more helpful or diligent in getting all of the many parties involved aligned. She was hugely supportive to me through quite a fraught process and offered great, specialist advice.

Great service from start to finish. Tom was brilliant from the start on the early negotiating sale side. Always felt I could get hold of the team for any questions etc. Then we were passed to Helen for sales progression who was faultless. She kept us up to date throughout the entire process both on email and also phone calls. Communication was superb throughout, always felt I could get help if needed and the fees were good too! Would not hesitate to recommend Bear to anyone looking to buy/sell a property!

Bear (Southend) have a fantastic proactive team, and although you don’t get to deal with one person I’ve realised this is to your advantage. Each team member is highly experienced in their area of sales. From Rebecca who is always available to organise viewings and keeps you updated and can answer a host of queries, to Tilly in the progression team that works continuously to keep the chain going and communicates frequently and even Tom, the Branch manager, will provide support if needed. No wonder across the towns you’ll see Sold Bear signs!

I used bear to sell my flat after a period with another agent. After only a few viewings with the old agent, Bear arranged a viewing the day after it went on the market and that ended up being our buyer! Tilly then managed the sales progression and provided regular updates throughout the process. I would highly recommend Bear Estate agents for their excellent service and market knowledge

they made the sale and progress updates so much easier than it could have been they navigated some very difficult situations and keep us up to date all the time , got to be one of the best estate agents and systems there is ,did i mention they sold my house in a little over 12 Hours incredible , big thanks to them all but Helen was outstanding

GooglePosting on behalf of my sister regarding Bear Lettings (Southend-on-Sea). A £200 cleaning deduction was applied at the end of the tenancy. No itemized breakdown or evidence of professional cleaning was provided, only a basic invoice. At move-in, the only smoke alarm in the 2-bedroom property was not operational due to missing battery, despite being recorded as operational at check-in. Submitted photographic and video evidence documenting the condition of the property at the start of the tenancy was provided in advance but was not referenced in the assessment of the case. The basis for the cleaning charge was not clearly evidenced within the documentation provided, and formal quotations or supporting invoices were not issued prior to the request for payment. Jade Bacon was helpful in resolving an earlier issue. Notice: For any party engaging with this branch, tenant, landlord, buyer, or contractor, ensure that all stages of the process are independently documented and acknowledged in writing at the time of inspection. This includes property condition records, any proposed deductions, and supporting evidence prior to agreement. Reliance on retrospective or office-generated summaries may not provide sufficient transparency.

I initially tried to resolve this privately, but after Bear Lettings doubled down on a 'thorough investigation' that ignored all digital evidence, I feel it is my duty to warn other tenants. This was never about £200; it was about the principle of an agency falsely accusing a tenant of being 'dirty' while they were too lazy to even look at the move-in proof.

We went through a more than usual stressful sale! and I wouldn’t have gotten through it without the professionalism and support from Helen at Bear! She went above and beyond and even when I nearly gave up she continued to support the situation. We got there in the end and I’m so grateful for all the hard work, commitment and perseverance Bear put in.
