GoogleNever use Batchellor to manage your property. Incredibly ignorant staff who simply do not care about tenants. I spent four weeks constantly wheezing at a property waiting for a solution and nothing happened. My asthma got worse & worse while they dilly dallied around week after week, I had no option but to leave the property. The house had issues with mould in every room & running water under the house plus was not professionally cleaned prior (the dust + muck was hideous) yet Batchellor blamed me, expecting me to continue to wait weeks while my health deteriorated. They are now refusing to return my deposit. Avoid.

GoogleClare Sheffield and her team have been excellent. We are a tenant and they have been very helpful whilst at the same time looking after the Landlord’s interests in a proper manner. I would certainly use them again either as a tenant or a landlord.

GoogleWe had a really positive experience with Batchellor Monkhouse this summer, good communication, quick on email response, kind to us when things were tense (which you can’t avoid when dealing with solicitors and money) and consistent in terms of who we dealt with. Good personal service which meant we didn’t feel like “just another client”

Batcheller Monkhouse are not to be trusted. They knowingly rented a house with mould growing in every room, toxic carcinogenic black mould on most window sills, airborne mould spores, moisture, damp + humidity issues, which had flowing water into the walls under the house that had never been professionally cleaned for 20+ years to an asthmatic who they knew was an asthmatic. The tenant requested a house without mould issues due to health concerns and alerted the agent prior to viewings - this was ignored..The agent in question is Clare Sheffield. After reporting respiratory issues after the first night nothing was done to rectify this after one month. The tenant suffered considerably due to this hideous agencies priority of money over their tenants health. Again, Clare Sheffield was managing the rental. Now Batcheller are aiming to profit from my misfortune. TENANTS & LANDLORDS AVOID THIS AGENCY AT ALL COSTS.

GoogleWe have used a range of services from Batcheller Monkhouse over the past 4 years and we would not have achieved the outcomes we did without their unfailing expertise. Their fantastic and diligent rental department managed our property for more than 3 years after which their incredible sales team sold it for us. There were complex planning issues related to the sale and in stepped their planning department to resolve these for us! It has been a one stop shop for all our requirements which was so reassuring as they did all of this with us residing in NZ. Prompt, utterly professional and most of all caring. Very special thanks to Simon and Carly for their determined efforts to secure the favourable outcome they did. They had our vested interests at heart and we simply cannot recommend Batcheller Monkhouse highly enough.

GoogleSelling your Home can be a very stressful experience. I should know as I’ve done it 7 times over the last 30 or so years. However Batcheller Monkhouse Haywards Heath were fantastic, making it one of the easiest sales we’ve ever encountered. Firstly, they work as a team, so you can access information and updates when you want them. They keep you informed, which is vital in keeping the stress level to a minimum. Each member of staff I spoke too were approachable and very professional. We were also happy with everything they did to promote our house, we felt they had all options covered. They clearly got it right as the viewers that came to see the house, were the right ones, they were a good fit! Overall I would say, BM Haywards Heath is one of best agents to employ selling your property.

GoogleStandard evil letting agents, moved us into a property with a condemned boiler which duly broke down. We went 5 weeks with nothing but cold water. They blamed the landlord for their incompetence and lied repeatedly. They also claim to only do 12month fixed term contracts with no get out clause even after the first year. Never felt so trapped!
