GoogleI had a really positive experience with Batcheller Monkhouse. The whole team was lovely, but Brad in particular stood out, he was also the agent managing our search for a property we were interested in, he was kind, respectful and genuinely helpful throughout the process ensuring we were aware of everything and giving great advice and knew the area very well. He kept us updated at every step, answered all our questions quickly and made the referencing process feel straightforward. We also appreciated being able to view the property more than once, and with flexibility which gave us confidence in our decision. He seemed to have a great relationship with landlords too, Brad even helped negotiate a later move-in date that worked well for both us and the landlord. I definitely recommend them to anyone

GoogleI had an excellent experience renting a rural property in West Sussex through Batcheller Monkhouse, and in particular working with Emma Bagnall. From start to finish, Emma has been outstanding. She handled everything with professionalism, clarity and genuine care. She was consistently responsive, keeping us informed, and taking the time to explain next steps and provide reassurance. Emma was not only efficient and knowledgeable, but also thoughtful and supportive. It genuinely felt like she was invested in helping us secure the right home. Thanks to her guidance and efficient management, we are now moving into what truly feels like a dream home, and I’m very grateful for her role in making that happen. GoogleLoved using Batchellor Monkhouse to sell my home. I primarily worked with Emily who was super but everyone in the office was always up to speed on developments. Great attention was taken to the photos and listing. All the agents who would show the house came round in advance to get a feel for the place. Tough market and BM delivered. Grade II* listed house with lots of quirks sold and very happy in new home.

GoogleIf you are thinking of renting , steer clear of this company They have total disregard for tenants, are unavailable for any problems, do not reply to phone messages or answer emails, agent I did finally speak to was just surly and arrogant, a thoroughly unpleasant person.

GoogleI would like to extend our appreciation to Lisa from the Battle office for helping us get our sale and purchase over the line. I genuinely think that if it wasn’t for her persistence, frequent communication and constant chasing we wouldn’t have sold our house and moved into our new home. For that reason alone we would have no hesitation in using, or recommending, Batcheller Monkhouse again ( although sadly I hope we won’t need to for a very long time!).
