We embarked on an ambitious and extensive refurbishment programme for Knowle Grange Health Spa, which commenced in 2020 and was completed in 2024. We appointed Christine to manage our various planning applications when she worked for another firm. She left that firm to join Batchelor Monkhouse and we tracked her down. She has done an excellent job fighting our corner rather than trying to persuade us to accept compromises we were not entirely happy with. We now have an impressive new barn, housing a gym, exercise studio and cafe with garden terrace. We have a beautifully refurbished spa building and smart pool changing rooms with steam room and, much to the delight of our members and clients, we have a large and attractive carpark with an entrance which makes us easy to find! We would not hesitate to recommend Batchelor Monkhouse, Tunbridge Wells.

Batcheller Monkhouse Planning department has to be the best there is, Nick Webb is the most knowledgeable planner I have met. The level service they provide is second to none - they understood my case, handled it perfectly, and achieved results. I have been told that what I wanted might not be possible by other firms, and after two years of planning hell, Batcheller Monkhouse took my case and secured more than I could ever dream of. I will be using them again and recommending to my friends because Batcheller Monkhouse did not use standard 'template' for my application, they got to know ins and outs of the situation, assessed and advised on what can be achieved, and most importantly they did what is takes to win my case. If you want results, this is the firm to use.

Batcheller Monkhouse have been excellent and worth every penny of their commission. We had lots of viewings, regular feedback and follow up. Everyone in the team was always helpful and full of advice. Once we had an offer Michelle looked after us and I can honestly say we wouldn't have got the sale over the line without her. There were some legal complexities that delayed completion but Michelle always on the case liaising with 3 sets of lawyers, and keeping everyone up to date. Michelle was also very reassuring and calm, which was so appreciated when the transaction became protracted and very frustrating. Mark Haffendon’s advice and knowledge of the housing market was invaluable. He carefully guided us through the process and was the only estate agent to offer creative marketing strategies that were unique to our home. Michelle Young was incredibly diligent at all times in keeping us up to date and informing us on the complex details relating to our chain. Batcheller Monkhouse Tunbridge Wells are exceptional to work with. We worked with them for the sale of our lovely Oast House in East Sussex. We had seen three other agents and BM gave our house the highest valuation of all three agents. They were very clear around the go to market plan and straight with us about the market environment - not very lively and pricing strategy. They had represented the previous owners when we bought the property and during that process always found them to be super helpful. They achieved the price we were looking for and supported us the whole way through with some last minute requests that needed to be satisfied. They are very well networked with the conveyancing lawyers in the area which proved to be invaluable to us to complete on time. Mark, Michelle and Wendy and all the team are first class.
