Great customer service from the start, Few snags on completion as expected on any new build but majority sorted now with no hesitation. Great site managers, would defo recommend (Shipley Lakeside) the site managers and lads on this site are a credit to Avant !! Aftersales have also been good at communicating with us.

This company is a disgrace and happily runs on a culture of not caring about the customer. The so called contractors ( tradesmen is too good a word ) clearly historically pass on to apprentices all the corner cutting and bad practices they’ve learned and then get away with it as everyone hides behind the saying “ well they are on peace work “ so when they do cut said corners they know it’s not them that will be made to return to do the job correctly but instead will be passed to a customer care team to come in to rectify there sloppy lazy unprofessional efforts. Obviously when the customer care people come in the majority will make the situation worse and leave so even that proves to be the next challenge. That’s if your lucky enough to actually get any assistance from customer care ( or couldn’t care as the case is ) Unfortunately the reality is until the government decide to intervene with these disgusting building practices they will continue to trade under this ethos. Have a search on building today magazine for Avant CEO left as he wasn’t happy with the direction they company was heading. It says it all that the original CEO was planning to stay on after the ex Persimmon CEO bought Avant out under the SME Berkeley DeVeer group but after learning of the changes decided he didn’t want to be part of it. Avant don’t deserve to have people handover there hard earned money to experience the slop. If your going to leave a positive review saying how good Billy was helping to choose your options or how Mary took hours to answer all your questions so well. Just remember they are sales people and that’s what they are there to do … love you to death until you part with your money. Then you can experience the true reality thereafter.

This is the second review I have given on here . Customer services north east are a joke . The so called manager Stacey hasn’t even got the decency to contact you herself.. just passed on from one person to another because they can’t keep staff… probably due to all the complaints!! Did have a lovely lady called Julie helping us but she no longer works for them ?! The issues I have had with my property are disgusting ( I could write a book) and am now being forced in to taking them to court after a shocking email I’ve just received!! PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT BUY A HOUSE FROM THESE PEOPLE !! Once they have your money they don’t care!

We have recently moved on to the Monkswood site in Telford. We absolutely love it here. All the staff through the process have been fantastic and always happy to go above and beyond. It has been a pleasure dealing with Callum Chapman over the last few months over at Ambretone Park. Callum has been more than accommodating whilst we have been organising the purchase of our new house. Even though difficult conversations Callum’s customer service focus has shone through. This was also represented in additional discussions I have had with Avant employees. In general the whole process has been very accommodating and appreciated.

My experience has been nothing short of a nightmare, filled with lies, deception, and broken promises.From the moment I embarked on this journey with Avant, I encountered a series of issues that have left me physically and emotionally drained. Here are some of the key reasons why I would never recommend Avant Homes to anyone:1. **Lack of Transparency**: Avant Homes consistently failed to provide clear and honest information about the property I purchased. From the condition of the house to the promised repairs, they kept me in the dark, leaving me to discover the truth the hard way.2. **Deceptive Practices**: I have been subjected to deceptive practices by Avant Homes. Promises were made and then conveniently forgotten. I was told repairs had been completed, only to find out that the work was shoddy, incomplete, or never started in the first place.3. **Ignored Disability**: As a disabled veteran with physical injuries, I had expected a certain level of understanding and accommodation from Avant Homes. Unfortunately, my disability was largely ignored, making my living situation even more challenging.4. **Endless Delays**: The issues I raised with Avant Homes dragged on for over a year. Instead of addressing them promptly, they consistently delayed resolution, leaving me in limbo and causing unnecessary stress and suffering.5. **Inconsistent Communication**: Avant Homes' communication has been inconsistent at best. I received conflicting information from different representatives within the company, leaving me confused and frustrated.6. **Legal Action**: The fact that I had to resort to legal action to seek a resolution speaks volumes about Avant Homes' approach to customer satisfaction. It's disheartening that it came to this point.7. **Media Campaign**: Due to the lack of a fair and timely resolution, I have been compelled to launch a media campaign to share my experiences and warn potential buyers of the difficulties they may face. This is not a step I took lightly, but it's necessary to bring attention to the issues at hand.In conclusion, my experience with Avant Homes has been nothing short of a nightmare. I would strongly advise prospective buyers to explore other options and thoroughly research the company's track record before committing their hard-earned money. Very sad to find the saloon closed when Google states they were open. To add the frustration whoever reply to my unsatisfactory enquire didn't reply with nothing but a sorry. It was an emergency and no solution was given or a let me see what I can do. Had previous unsatisfied experiences before but enough is enough.

Before proceeding with the sale we were slightly anxious due to the amount of bad reviews they have received. I can honestly say, at Hawthornden, Rosewell, it’s been 5 stars from start to finish. Now we’re in the property there has been minimal snagging, and any issues have been dealt with promptly with excellent communication throughout. Special mention must go out to one of the site managers, Owen, who has gone above and beyond several times since we moved in.
