My experience with Avant Homes has been highly disappointing, and I feel compelled to share my feedback with potential homebuyers. This review outlines my concerns and issues with their services, hoping to bring attention to the areas that need significant improvement.Overall Experience:From the beginning to the end of my journey with Avant Homes, I encountered numerous challenges and disappointments that have left me unsatisfied with my new home. Regrettably, it seems that I am not alone in my discontent, as many of my fellow residents in the new development share similar sentiments.Specific Issues:Initial Issues: While some initial problems were addressed promptly, several issues persist, including:Walls out of squarePoorly fitted doorsSubstandard kitchen installationInadequate plasteringGarden issues with water pooling due to the lack of topsoilDelays: I have faced extensive delays in obtaining essential items and services, including:Waiting for 10 months for a kitchen doorA frustrating 8-month wait for lightsMissed appointments and poor communicationCustomer Service: My interactions with Avant Homes' customer care have been less than satisfactory. The staff are very very nice and helpful! They provide extremely effective and excellent service! We arrived the office at 15:40 and the staff could arrange a viewing before 16:00 in another site!

Avant Homes haven’t even started building and they’ve wrecked our community! Clearance work has caused flooding to nearby homes. They don’t even accept this though and have blamed rainfall! Even though records going back to 1986 show higher rainfall and no flooding. They have also killed badgers living on the site and extracted coal from the area. Absolute cowboys.

Worst builder iv ever seen sent someone to remove render off grey windows used scourer windows are a mess need repaired like all the build a total mess if your thinking of buying please don’t I’m on barley mow site snd there not selling hundreds viewing none buying on going problem with upvc facias badly installed fire door into garage poor fitting plastering is a total mess painting been done by a 3 year old. Noise through windows boiler plumbed incorrectly so hot water runs hot and cold bad brick work bathroom kitchen snd everything internal nothing like show home cheep taps sinks garage doors arnt insulated floors not level gardens boggy and turf laid badly list goes on for price these houses are totaly and utter rubbish please read reviews and don’t buy radiators are that small house is freezing when questiond about them avant ssid it’s open plan get some doors snd walls put in to make it warmer I told them radiators are getting changed they said that will invalidate my warranty boiler only has 2 year warranty off avant even though they carry a 10 year warranty

From start to finish we have had a great experience with Avant Homes. With no intention to buy a new build yet experiencing losing out on bidding for properties, we gave Jackton Green a merely speculative look and it’s turned out to be a wonderful decision.The property was finished to a high standard with all sorts of modern and high spec finishes and fittings, appliances are wonderful, ceilings are high and all the mod cons a family could need. We just love the spacious layout, aesthetics and safe location (with double parking spaces!).We could not have asked for more efficient, friendly and professional service - with Jacqueline in particular going above and beyond, plus the home demos we had from the site managers. We experienced a very challenging moving day (my buyer’s funds were lost, resulting in a delay to moving day from Friday to following Monday) and we could not have had more support and kindness from Jacqueline who did everything she could for us and worked with such compassion and professionalism. Nothing was too much to ask.We love our new home and any reservations we had about a new build have been completely blown out of the water. Any of the usual snags can be dealt with quickly and easily - just brilliant. Neighbourhood is peaceful, safe and feels like a total life upgrade.100% would recommend Avant and Jackton Green.

Worst builder , worst staff . Builder not making agreement as per rera , he want nearly 60 to 70 percentage amount before plinth . False commitment by staff . Pls don’t buy anything in Avant .Trust me you will end up in trouble . Purchasing flat in Avant means you are inviting trouble. your happiness will go after purchasing flat in Avant .

We were searching for our perfect new home and found it on our 2nd visit to Jacqueline at the Jackton Green sales office, looking to downsize and having met Jacqueline previously in the sales office at Greenhall Village she knew exactly what we were looking for and immediately pointed us in the direction we needed with a gentle push to plot 99 as we were hesitant at the thought of buying smaller. Her experience, patience, and calming nature helped us massively throughout the process which took around 6 months from reservation to completion due to delays with the sale of our own home, without her reassurance I would probably have threw the towel in a long time ago, so glad that she was always there with her level head and patience. Any communication with the head office in Stirling was efficient and again the advice given was spot on.The handover given by the site foreman Jimmy was superb with all the information we needed to settle in straight away, and follow up calls dealt with professionally in a timely manner.In short the experience from start to finish we received has been excellent and I cannot thank all the Avant personnel enough for their assistance throughout with the gold star award going to Jacqueline.

No impressed at all… made an appointment for 3.30 arrived 5 minutes early to find a daughter and granddaughter already in with customer salesperson. Reason the gender because the grandfather spoke to me outside as he was babysitting his grandson in the back of his car who was asleep. I eventually got in to the sales showhome about 3.45 but in front of me a car drew up with three females and a young boy, I was sitting in car by this time awaiting on the sales person being done with the walk-in other two females ….. I got out my car and spoke to the lady as I thought they had just rocked up on speck but she told,me they were the family that had just bought the showhome earlier this month and we’re just wanting to have a look around to measure up and take notes for their entry in December ..so they proceeded to go ahead of me and the salesperson “ Sandra” obviously couldn’t take me to show me the plot 305 that I was potentially interested in as obviously this family were still in the showhome/sales home. Eventually she drove up to the plot as it was not near enough to walk, I followed in my car and when we got there I was advised beforehand that access was not allowed as it was still in build and not safe to enter but she would show me plot 305 which was the exact same and available but she had brought the wrong keys!!! So she had to drive back to the office/showhome leaving me standing having a look outside! Eventually she came back certainly within 5 minutes and the weather was dry …although I could have sat in my car but as I say I had a look at outside and around but limited access as haelege fencing didn’t allow for obvious health and safety and being Sunday 8th October no workmen were in site. Even when we got into the plot 305 it was around 4,35 and she was closing at 5pm … it was the quickest walk round I got and no time to take in or ask but a few questions … but totally felt not a valued potential client … so it’s a defo no from me and saved my husband a journey being at home watching rugby on tv to accompany me …dreadful experience…will not be persuing further ….. total wasted time. Avant need to do better in customer relations. Will never recommend !!! What was the point in making an appointment to be sidelined but previous clients overrunning timewise and then for a whole family who had bought showhome that was still being utilised as sales office rocked up and expected to get access no thought about me was given by the salesperson Sandra….who had a bonifida appointment …. Dreadful…..

Allowed us to view the properties at our own pace and gave us loads of information about the properties, development, prices etc and answered all pur questions. Annoyed at even having to rate one star, these are the biggest cowboys in existence and anyone buying from them must need their heads looking at - bought old school field at back of my parents property, flooded their house and garden through total excavation of the site causing £30k damage (refer to BBC East Midlands, Notts TV, Nottingham Evening Post for extensive coverage along with many other local publications and involvement from local and now national MPs). Have admitted liability verbally, now denying, rude arrogant and obnoxious to the extreme, deny deny deny, local council even intend to start litigation, making pensioner residents and victims of their criminal damage ill from stress - if this review doesn’t paint a clear picture for you of how much you should take your hard earned money elsewhere then I don’t know what will - send this company down and all who work for it, it’ll be justice well served.

The house specifications for The Kirkham were NOT the same as the contract we agreed to purchase but a cheaper downgraded version in all respects but still the same price We requested some upgrades but were informed that even though they were on their list were told they were not available and had never been an option on any of their properties example garage floor paint, it even gives you a choice of colours. What a jokeWe were not shown latest kitchen layout and units. Bathroom sanitary wear was not as on the original specifications paperwork either but a cheaper version. But house price was not reduced to reflect this. We had to continue to point out Avants shortcomings. Each and every week
