Adam O’Donnell showed my friend and I two flats and he was great. He answered all our questions and was very knowledgable of each flat and the local area. Would defiantly recommend choosing Adam to help with a search for a flat!

Although I did not rent a flat through Atkinson McLeod, Chavonne Farley was hands down the most professional, helpful estate agent I have dealt with. She never called me up with ridiculous suggestions of houses out of my budget nor did she try and tell me £300 over my asking price was manageable which has happened on numerous occasions. Overall could not have asked for more and genuinely wished me the best when I had signed another house through another estate agent.

We were looking a 2-bed flat and Tom Holland was our agent. He was a great professional and took care of every detail until we moved to the property.

Unfortunately my dealings with Atkinson McLeod have been so unprofessional and may even be considered illegal I felt the need to write a review to warn perspective tenants. I am a tenant for a property that's private garden borders a property that AM have being attempting to let. The property they are letting has access to the garden for emergency manhole access only. A few weeks ago I found Tom an agent for AM with potential tenants 'showing' our private garden as part of the other property. I went out and explained it was private, but he ignored me and returned later with further tenants. I contacted my landlords and AM. My landlords contacted AM to reiterate the land is private and I spoke to the manager at AM who assured me that the details would be corrected and there would be no issue as it was clear the garden was not included. I also spoke with agent Tom personally who said the property would not be let with the garden. Today while putting my baby to sleep I heard Tom and the new tenants in the garden and Tom stating it was their garden and that 'some lady' had said otherwise but laughed it off. When I could I spoke with the tenants and they stated the property had been let on this basis. This demonstrates that AM have been not only falsely advertising but also contracted new tenants on false information, something that I believe is illegal. I feel sorry for the tenants as they have let a property which it will transpire they now don't have access to a garden. It is also unfortunate as the first day of their tenancy is the day before the new letting legislation comes into play - you can draw your own conclusions about that. But please be very wary about using or dealing with Atkinson McLeod Kennington in future.

I would highly recommend Atkinson McLeod. Even in this challenging economy, we had a high volume of viewings on our property. Paul Darko was a pleasure to deal with, friendly, professional, and supportive throughout the sale process.

Very much regret using this agency. Would not use again knowing what I know now - just too dishonest when dealing with myself. A lot of verbal communication that becomes meaningless.

Candy from the Hackney office of Atkinson Mcleod worked really hard to sell our house and in less than three weeks she got us our asking price! Great service.

I'm very worried about renting the property with them, similar to the review below I still don't have my lease agreement days before the move in date.

Your real estate nightmare come true. Their only talent is to have written a contract that deprives you from all rights and washes them of any responsibility. They failed to inform me that my tenants had given their notice for 6 weeks and after telling me that it was down to their mistakes told me they wouldn't compensate me for the missing rent. They have also refused to refund me for the management fee of the next 4 months during which I won't even have a tenant! An absolute shame for the profession, only interested in sucking money out of landlords and tenants alike.

Highly recommended. Claire was great to deal with and helped make moving a pleasant experience. The flat is fantastic, overlooking the olympic stadium - lots of interesting birdlife including kingfishers, which you wouldn't expect in central London!

Used Atkinson McLeod to find my new flat, was really helpful and always seemed to look after my best interests as other agents tended not to. Was an easy process to move in. Would use again!!!
