GoogleReally pleased with the service at Ashtons. Had the majority of my dealings with Hannah Bartlett who was excellent throughout. They worked very hard to get the move all done before Christmas which was a huge relief. Would recommend to anyone.

GoogleHannah and the whole team at Ashtons worked hard over a very long & difficult period of time to sell our house at a fair price (twice!) and also manage a long chain to prevent it from collapsing. Hannah was always contactable and we felt we were kept updated. We’d recommend Ashtons, through working hard to reach out to the various parties in the chain, they definitely made the difference between us moving or the whole thing falling apart!

GoogleAfter many years of buying and selling properties and using various estate agencies; we have never come across any as professional as Ashton’s. They keep you updated all the way, they do exactly what they say they’ll do and you’re never in any doubt that they’re working on your behalf. Kennedy’s knowledge of the area and exact valuation ability is a credit to both her and Ashton’s. Hannah was absolutely outstanding! She was professional, knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. 10/10

GoogleHonestly, these guys are the best and I could not recommend them enough! I have recently sold my house, and everyone at Ashton's worked extremely hard despite the obstacles we experienced. The communication between James, Carol, Mark, and Lisa with myself was second to none and were very understanding when i called up (numerous times) in a stressed state. The approach the team had to my sale was both professional and friendly, which made me feel at ease when selling my property during these testing times. GoogleWe were dealing with Julie m. Seems like she didn't take us seriously at all.very rude and was extremely hard to get in contact with. Would hardly get back to us. We had a mortgage sorted checks all done but had to pull out of the house due to rot and the valuation being 30k less then the asking price Julie wouldn't even ask the seller if he would take a lower payment all she said was we have a cash buyer ready anyway! It feels like we were just shoved to the side because we wernt willing to pay 30k more then the house was valued at, valuator said the seller has to sort rotting floor before he sells it but is unwilling to do this. I wouldn't even give ashtons 1 star if I didn't have to all because of Julie's attitude towards usNegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

Behind the scenes and in very short order, Sarah and Jack also assisted us with extensive local knowledge, market research and solicitor referrals. Without their involvement and coaching, in all likelihood we would not have had the chance to identify or purchase the house (particularly as it never went on the advertised market). GoogleWe recently sold our house in York, through Ashtons, and purchased a flat in Harrogate. There were all sorts of ups and downs (with unscrupulous buyers) but throughout the whole lengthy process Ashtons staff were just incredible. Everyone we dealt with from Kennedy on the evaluation (and more), Andrew on the photographs to Jade on the sale were professional, honest and extraordinarily efficient. While all staff were excellent, we want to make a particular case of thanking Jade Sainty. She helped us with the sale, with advice on what to do when things went wrong, was always at the end of the phone to answer questions. Jade’s help went beyond the sale to support and advice in our purchase too. Moving house was, as everyone always says, very stressful but the myth of difficult estate agents was proven so wrong. We would recommend Ashtons to anyone who is thinking of selling. It's no exaggeration to say the experience was faultless. Our house sale and completion took 9 months in total - one house sale/purchase falling through (no fault of Ashtons) and a new, successful sale/purchase taking its place. Ashtons however actively supported us throughout the entire period. From start to finish we found them incredibly professional, supportive and engaged in our house sale. Special call outs to Charlotte for getting the price right, Clair in securing both sales, and lastly but far from least, Hannah for her perseverance with a very extended chain.
