I needed a Valuation. I looked at a few agent reviews first and called up Ashtons. I spoke to Courtney who managed to get a booking for the very next day. About 20 minutes before the appointment I received a call to say Hannah had been delayed on a viewing due someone turning up late but they will be with me shortly. A few minutes later there was a knock on the door and Peter who was in the area attended instead. He inspected the property thoroughly and answered all my questions. No pushy estate agent spiel at all. Everyone I dealt with was lovely. Well recommended.

Had the WORST interview at Ashtons a while ago. When I arrived on time, the interviewer had forgotten I was coming for interview, and quickly scrambled. She took me into a board room which was filled with the left overs of a Friday night sesh, along with a large drawing of a naked man on a presentation board. Half way through the interview the director walked in and my interviewer decided to flirt with him, overall a very unprofessional experience, my time was wasted. Thank god I didn't get the job! Amen.

We have to say the Ashtons team have really lived up to their reputation. We recently bought our home through them and it was a great experience from start to finish. There are a couple of names we would like to mention who have really helped us over the last few months of our move. I had a very positive experience with Asthon for the purchase of my first home. Rob and his team were excellent. He also accommodated few extra visits at the property before the purchase was finalised. This allowed me to select the right building company which was supposed to start the work immediately after the contract exchange. Communication was great throughout the process.

I purchased a property through Ashtons in December 2022. It has been an extremely unsatisfactory process and I will explain why: A Rightmove listing is a legal document and once it is edited to Sold - STC, the listing cannot be edited unless the new owner requests this on completion. I saved the link and documented information as this was especially important to be, as the purchaser of a brand new property. The Rightmove listing included four untruthful statements, which included information about the wrong Code of Conduct in which the property is covered under warranty; it was published for six months before changing to Sold - STC. This is extremely serious as it misled me to believe the property had protections that it simply does not have; it is in breach of the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulation 2008, due to negligent misrepresentation. Upon contacting Ashtons they have put this down to "clerical error" and refuse to aid me in resolving a number of issues that I am facing due to their untruths. Further to this, the communications are intimidatory and not in keeping with the frameworks that protect consumers when purchasing properties.

Amazing service. My partner and I felt very reassured and comfortable throughout the whole process. Any questions or concerns we had were answered and dealt with swiftly. Isabel was incredible and we just want to thank her for being so attentive. Before we signed for this property we had been set on a different property with a different agency, but we were not as happy with the servce given by the other agency. In comparison after meeting with Isabel at the Ashtons property, we sent an application in immediately as she was incredible throughout the whole process and the property was great too.
