Our experience with Ashberry homes was 5 star . As first time buyers we were unsure of the running order of things : Chrissie and her team at the sales centre were AMAZING and did everything they could to ensure we had a smooth completion.

Hellberry Homes

Moved into our property over 4 months ago and since the day we moved in there has been no customer service whatsoever. We still have multiple snags and issues outstanding. When we moved in multiple extras that we paid thousands for were to a poor finish unusable or damaged this is still the case. We are on our third front door which is still not right, our second kitchen due to incorrect and poor fitment which is still not right. We are waiting for new windows due to these not being fitted correctly we paid hundreds of pounds for made to measure fitted blinds only for these to have to be ripped down for a new living room window to be fitted to which the window company never turned up and we are now left with bare brick, no privacy and a blind that now is unusable. When speaking to management on site we get told it’s “not there department” or there’s “nothing they can do” The customer care is simply unacceptable we have made multiple phone calls and sent multiple emails but are still left in the same position with so many snags and issues still outstanding. I would strongly advise anyone thinking of buying an Ashberry or Bellway home to save themselves the headache and stress and look elsewhere because once you have moved in and they have your money they couldn’t care anymore about you or your new home.

Ashberry Homes has illegally blocked the public footpath from Woodville to Harsthorne (Woodville FP3) with a large Heras fence. They obviously can't be trusted to ensure that environmental conditions on this estate are carried out to the full.

Customer Care Not Plot 439 Church View

Ashberry homes customer care is crap, once you have bought the house they do nothing for you. I was told I’d have an internal front door handle for moving in, this took 13 months after completion to get. They had to change the internal door which is hideous and not in keeping with the style of home. Let’s see how long it takes this time. Been in property for 2 and half years…

Been in property for 2 and half years and the garden is a complete shambles. Been re laid 3 times. Last time was done was in June due to the garden having no drainage and having rubble and rubbish under the previous grass that was laid which turned the garden into a swamp and killed all the grass. Not even a year into the new grass being re laid it’s happened yet again!!!! They didn’t even bother to sort the issue out which is due to no drainage and the gardeners even said this would happen in time again!! How can this possibly happen YET AGAIN FOR THE THIRD TIME!!I get told from Bellway ( who own Ashberry) they are doing ME a favour by having it re laid for the third time like it’s my fault that this has happened. Do they not learn that clearly this is their problem and they should actually sort this as would save so much hassle and money. How can they be happy that they’ve had to replace the grass three times in 2 years and it’s still the same!!Complete joke of a company telling me it’s a one of favour and I should be grateful. This is our first property we’ve brought and have 2 children under 2 that can’t even go out and enjoy and play in the garden now until we actually move to a house which has suitable and safe garden with grass and not a boggy mess of mud everywhere. We’ve done everything the gardeners said to do to maintain the grass and have spent several hundred pounds and surprise surprise it’s not helped in the slightest which they told us would happen. Avoid these clowns who you will chase for months on end and then feel like you’re in the wrong when you complain. All they had to do in the first place was to sort the drainage issue and lay better grass then would be fine. The fact that several of our neighbours gardens are doing well shows that the problem lays with drainage in ours. This will never be sorted and the day we move to a better place couldn’t come soon enough to end this nightmare.
