Recently purchased a property at Winnington, Northwich. Prior to purchase Kelly and Marie were fabulous, friendly and very knowledgable, providing regular updates. Nothing was too much trouble. Post completion Keith and Scott, Site Managers, have been great, addressing a small number of snags in person and following them up to ensure they have been resolved. Both top blokes, very approachable and friendly & seem genuinely pleased to see you. On a couple of occasions we’ve had to contact the out of hours customer support team who again were great and were able to offer a swift resolution. Overall a great experience at Winnington, very happy.

Great service from the team at Crossfields

All we can say is that Anwyl homes and their team at Crossfields in Catterall have been amazing . Debbie in the office and Ian the site manager really know how to look after customers.From the first time we walked into the sales office Debbie has looked after us and kept us up-to date with progress on our house, she also answered any questions we asked as promptly as she could.Once we moved in it was site manager Ian’s turn to show us how well the team at Anwyl look after their customers. A few very minor snags when we moved in were sorted very quickly and Ian called round a few times during our first month to check everything was ok.Anwyl homes should be very proud of the team at Crossfields in Catterall and the house that was handed over to us was finished to an amazing standard.

I have had our back door and frame replaced because it was warped, and Lee Reynolds and Christopher Appleton came to do the work ,and what a brilliant job they did there were lots of issues with the old door and frame but they overcame them and did a really professional job thank you to both of them Also we had a new utility door fitted by Richard Nelson on Friday 18th August another brilliant and very professional job thank you Richard

Lee Ashworth visited our property to work on our front door (we’ve been in 8 months). He identified issues with the door we hadn’t yet noted and was honest, hardworking and reliable. We need a new door, which Lee has taken care of with customer care - we’d very much like him to come back and fit the new door for us when it arrives!We are still waiting on a number of outstanding snags to be resolved though; extractor fan in the kitchen is letting in debris from outside and rattling, wonky tree planted in front lawn, our drive was left covered in cement when the fence was installed on our neighbouring property - this was raised in March and I’m still waiting.There are snags I haven’t even had the energy to raise yet: The interior woodwork was finished to a very poor standard when we moved in so this is next on my list to resolve.Overall, the standard of my property wasn’t up to scratch when we completed - some things get resolved but it’s an absolute slog.If you get an Anwyl technician like Lee to come out though - they’re great.

Outstanding service from anwyl homes staff

We dealt with Stephanie and Samantha from the word go, they've both been unbelievable in there profession, kept us informed from the start right throughout the progress of our new fabulous home being built from scratch, along with regular pics,videos, phone calls, updates. We never had any reason to worry or be concerned over anything, we left it in there hands with no regrets whatsoever. Both Stephanie an Samantha are a huge asset an credit to anwyl homes we've popped into the Sales office a few times to do some measurements in the show home to match ours an nothing was ever to much for them. Stephanie done the official key hand over and was very helpful going around the house with me an Lisa checking over everything, she explained everything to us taking notes of any faults which to be honest were that minor not even worth mentioning, as our new home was better than what we expected. As with all new homes you can get a few minor issues or snags, we had virtually none an what we did have was nothing serious.These homes have been built to a very high standard throughout we went for quite a lot of upgrades which both Stephanie an Samantha took care of, and ensured we got exactly what we opted for.I've never known a house sale which is new build from start to finish to run so smoothly no delays at all or mishaps. Myself an Lisa can't thank Stephanie an Samantha enough, from the bottom of our hearts they've both equally been amazing, showing they're full proffionalisim throughout ensuring we was happy throughout the sale. If I could give them more than 5☆ I would.So if anyone is looking at buying a home off this developer I swear you will not regret it, we've spoken to a few residents who all feel the same I can't recommend this developer enough.So on behalf of me an Lisa we'd like to thank the girls and all the team involved in the background a massive thank you, from the start to the day we walked over the step to get our keys. The team on site @ Victoria Mills have been amazing. Gyllian & Lauren were professional, kind, helpful and informative, I used the recommended solicitors and the house purchase was wonderfully quick. On moving in Issac and the all the builders have been so friendly, incredibly helpful and always around to answer a question or help over the slightest query, they are a joy! Thank you Issac for always checking and caring about the quality of your work! (The offsite team have not been quite as cooperative, but all utility issues are now sorted).

Lee Ashworth came and repainted our garage door on Lawrence gardens and did a 5 star job it’s such a shame the trades employed when building the houses are such shoddy workmen, no undercoat, painted over dirt and the plastic from the factory, 197 snags we had in this house and they were mostly down to lazy trades!!!! Thankfully nearly all are now resolved but still waiting for tiles to be replaced which look like they were cut with a chainsaw and have been replaced once already and drain covers to be fit, on top of this when it rained heavy 2 weeks ago myself and many of my neighbours ended up with blocked drains outside and floods, been reported by my next door neighbour to no avail, the house build is top notch and I love mine but sadly Anwyl the trades you employ are letting you down and some of the site managers just tell you what you want to hear then do nothing to resolve issues

Lee and Lee are great

Lee and Lee are great, always well presented and do a fantastic job. A credit to the company and the dog loves them which is a rare occurrence!Would I recommend anwyl? No.The smaller snags get sorted but the garden is still horrendous with loads of debris under the soil. Told to fork the garden to sort the drainage and can't get the fork in more than a couple of inches, told it will sort itself after a couple of years, 3 years on and it's still terrible floods every year and kills all the grass. I'd love for one of the directors to tell me I'm wrong but they can't be bothered to get in touch.EDITSo they got back in touch to tell me to contact customer services, is this for them to say nothing can be done, its my fault for not forking the garden and that there's no debris under it even after pulling 2 4 foot 4x4 posts out, yeah OK. Waste of space

Crossfields Development Catterall

We bought a Lancaster style house at the Crossfields development in Catterall. From Debbie at the office being very efficient, and on the ball,to Ian at the site, who l must say is fantastic at his job, and Anwyl are very lucky to have him working for them. Any snagging issues are dealt with very quickly and efficiently. Nothing is too much bother for him, always willing to make things right and never forgets what he has to do for you. Can't thank Ian enough for getting us into our new house on time when we were renting for 10 weeks. 👍
