GoogleAfter meeting with various estate agents, for us it was an easy decision enlisting Duncan at Annafield to sell our Kimbolton home. Duncan and Keeley kept us informed every step of the way. Pricing was spot on and the house sold very quickly. We then had Emma looking after the sale process for us and again keeping us fully updated sometimes on a daily basis with such professionalism. GoogleKeeley was very prompt and professional in showing us around the property and once the offer was agreed that’s when Emma in after sales took over. Emma was a breath of fresh air in what was a very slow transaction due to probate. She always replied immediately to any concerns or emails I had and always came back with an answer never leaving us in the dark. GoogleI purchased an apartment with Annafield Estates and the service was absolutely first class. The after-sales support really did make a difference. Emma Alben stayed in regular contact with me as the buyer and the sellers. When my solicitor was slow in responding or kept asking for documents that were difficult to locate she stepped in to speed things up and chase down documents required. I honestly believe Emma did a better job than my own solicitor and I am extremely grateful for her can do attitude and making sure the sale went through smoothly. GooglePut us under overwhelming time pressure to provide proof of funds, then for circumstances outside our control we lost the house we wanted. The response? ‘Stay positive’ followed by a sales pitch. Will avoid in future. EDIT: Your reply missed the point. My frustration with you is you turned a situation when we were at a low ebb into a sales pitch. ‘Stay positive’ is not what people want to hear when they are upset. Having a dig at another agent is also poor practice.

Dear Daniel, Thank you for your comments. With this particular sale and vendor we had multiple offers all come in over two days and we have to do our due diligence on every client that makes an offer, to be able to put offers forward in the best light. Your agent did not help the process by not knowing the full details of your chain and ultimately it turned out that you had not actually secured a buyer on your home anyway. This meant you were not in a position to proceed with any purchase unfortunately and ultimately missed out on the property we are selling. I understand your frustration, especially in the current market where properties are selling so quickly. We wish you good luck in the future, in your search for your next home.

GoogleLeft a holding fee down on a property and within a week they had rented and gave the property to another person and refunded my money. Did not make me aware or even let me finish my application. Overall just bad communication and dishonest. Why leave a holding fee if its still going to be offered. In reply: I did not mislead you, I gave you an accurate figure of my wage through comission and basic, you just used basic which was not informed to me until after I filled in the application. Also you asked me for an application for a guarantor, which was in process of getting filled in when you announced the property was let to somebody else. So if you want to talk about being mislead then you are the ones who do that and should make everything clear before the process. Regards Zack.

Dear Zack, thank you for your review. Lawfully, we were able to keep your holding deposit due to the fact you misled us on your application. Instead, I refunded it the same day that the property was let. Feel free to return our calls if you want to discuss this.

GoogleColin and his team were the only shining light in what otherwise can only be described as an utter nightmare of a house move. Colin went above and beyond what I could ever expect, and helped me through every stage of the moving process, even if it wasn’t necessarily his job to do so. Especially in a time of constant flux (covid), he remained a stable contact whenever I needed clarification on something. He really is a fantastic asset to his team and spokesperson for Annafield, and I hope he gets the recognition he so absolutely deserves (and maybe an extra day off after all the stress I put him through!) I can’t thank Colin enough for all his help and support!!
