We had a terrible experience with Annafields St Neots, they valued our house £15,000 lower than it's value, so we didn't use them for our house sale. Unfortunately the house we wanted to buy was listed with them. Joe was unprofessional, turning up to the viewing looking like he was off to the beach in t-shirt and shorts! He was rude, lazy and terrible with communication. We asked a few questions and everything seemed too much trouble, bad considering he is the manager. The sales progressor was almost impossible to get hold of as she was always on annual leave, so we had to chase everything ourselves. We got two quotes for removals, Annafield removals was slightly cheaper. They are run by a separate team, so we thought we would use them as they were more local than the other company. Their manager was great, BUT her team of removal men were awful. They were rude to our excited children. They were in a massive hurry to get the job done so they could go home! They finished the job just before 2pm so it was far from a late one! Total lack of regard for our belongings, banging every doorframe in sight. Last but not least, they broke my son's wardrobe so badly by dropping it, that it couldn't be put back together, they left it in this state propped up with a box and didn't tell us! It could of fallen onto my son or his bed and badly injured him. There were little bits of broken wardrobe and tack pins left all over his carpet. They did eventually pay for a new one but we had to wait a month for the money! Overall a terrible company to deal with, definitely avoid!!!

Chloe was my main point of contact at Annafield and I had a really good experience with them overall. It was a tricky time to be selling but they did everything they could to get it over the line, and once they did, everything went like clockwork and we got to exchange far quicker than my previous house sale through an online company, which caused the sale to fall through. Every member of staff was great, but Chloe especially always kept me updated and informed and reduced my stress a lot!

I was purchasing a property in Eaton Socon, using a local estate agent and the mortgage lender refused to lend on it due to miss information. I desperately need to find something else, so as not to lose my mortgage offer. James was brilliant he contacted me in person and offered me two property suggestions within St Neots. Colin showed me around the property I was interested in and we agreed on a price there and then, that was on the (date in Jan). I worked closely with Colin, he was amazing and assisted me with all the solicitor’s paperwork, even hand delivered then to the solicitor’s office at 8pm for me. Today I have just exchanged contracts, and I move into my new place on the 29th Feb. This is insane. I never in a million years expected my purchase to go this fast and it would not have happened if I had not followed Colin help and advice. I even changed my solicitor’s firm on Colin recommendation. Colin went above and beyond what I could ever expect, and helped me through every stage of the moving process, even if it wasn’t necessarily his job to do so. We don’t know where to start in expressing our gratitude to Annafield for their enormous and game-changing support throughout our move. It was a complicated and time-consuming transaction, and we engaged Annafield at a critical point where the whole chain was about to fall through. They put in tireless effort to make it happen, they were focused and always responsive. They needed no prompting, but instead showed genuine initiative and enthusiasm to keep our purchase secure whilst resolving issues with our sale.
