V.poor customer service

How can you buy a property based on 1 photo? Called the agents & was told cannot book a viewing & the 1 external picture it's all they have.

Total cowboys

Total cowboys. Just received a mail the night before an auction saying guide price is up by 50%. Spent 2 days of time over the last few weeks reviewing costs, potential etc of a rennovation. Just set the guide price correctly in the first place.Wish I had read reviews on Allsop beforehand as they are pretty damning.Leave them alone...

Avoid this company

Poor company. They do not deal with ongoing issues at properties for auction well. They specialise at telling you what you want to hear and doing the opposite. When you escalate issues they get found out and pass the buck onto others. Best to avoid.

was trying to buy a lot before the auction date and they said that they wouldn't sale, however at 5pm the day before the auction the lot was marketed as "sold prior".... so you need to know the right people within in order to buy.

Bought from allsops on many occassions. Much more professional and trustworthy than london auction house and bernard auctions. Feel safe investing in purchases from them although must check the buildings out personally beforehand if possible.

Excellent service.....Stuart Gayer and the staff who registered me to bid with less than 48 hrs before the auction were very helpful and made my first auction property buying experience a very good one.The buyers premium of £1250 is very reasonable unlike other property auction sites i viewed which made me choose allsop instead of other greedy alternatives. Thank-you all the team at allsop 5*****

The service, communication and support I received was excellent from listing to accepting a pre auction offer and David Evans of Allsop extensively supported me thereafter in bringing the sale to completion. I would not hesitate to recommend Allsop Auctions to others - Thank you.

They did not pay my deposit back on time, still not received it! It's a lot of money and they will not answer my calls

avoid them - NO BREAK CLAUSE AND RUDE AGENTS

Our property manager (C.) was extremely rude, felt entitled all throughout our tenancy since she joined the company and was trying to over charge us with the expenses. On our check out, she expected us to pay £60 for garden cleaning which was already a mess when we moved in and was recorded on the check in documents + she over charged us claiming there was a bleach stain on the carpet (it’s just some white dry paint fell from the walls easily coming off with some hoovering)How not to mention that there’s no break clause in the contract? We had lived in the flat for nearly 3 years and when we decided to move, we had to pay for another 4 months because you honestly don’t have a choice when you have to sign a contract every year. Rude people and dodgy services. Avoid them.

There is no support for how to withdraw a proxy bid when late addenments have been added. You're completely stuck.

Purchased through this company for years, staff are very helpful and reliable. They need to spend some money on the poor reception lighting, it keeps flickering making it hard to read papers that need signing.
