GoogleRecently purchased 6 properties across a few auctions. Dealt with David Evans, when I registered and hadn’t submitted my deposit - David walked me through the process step by step. Made me feel comfortable with the process and in the end. I’d recommend using Allsop, straightforward and good communication throughout.

GoogleI am very disappointed with my experience with this company. Registered well in advance to bid and they took deposit but did not allow me to bid on the day. So disorganised and not professional.

GoogleThere is no hot water for several times(at least 4-5 times in a year), few months ago, last week and this week. And the Lark asked us to call the water company directly, said this is the hot water company responsibility? It has been more than a day doesn't have hot water. You are built for rent, and you suppose to provide good rental service, aren't you? Even normal house renting situation, landlord suppose to provide flat/house having hot water. Otherwise you suppose to provide alternative solution, this is not a livable condition flat. How can you push everything to residents to deal with ourselves? We paid to live in such built for rent flat is to get good services handling by professional company, otherwise, why we even chose built for rent. Plus, we almost lived here for a year, there are so many things broken, the door bell broken for months, the forge of door broken for months, the cinema projector broken for couple of times, the coffee machine broken, the receptionist is always not there or missing. When asking receptionist anything, they can't help. During the summer, the flat is extremely hot, they claimed they have comfortable cooling, but the cooling system doesn't work at all, if outside is 28 degree, inside could be 30 degree with cooling system. Anyway, you paid a lot of money, but didn't get everything working.

GoogleProperty was in unclean condition when we moved in. Rat droppings, used shaving equipment and food wrappers were found under some of the beds. Allsop expected us to clean the property to a professional standard when we moved out, including cleaning the windows from the outside as well. I think this was unjust bearing in mind the condition it was when we moved in. However, one good point was that repairs were conducted as requested even if it took a couple emails.

I went to view what looked like a great house going to auction. Around 20 people turned up and stood outside for a good 40 minutes whilst their representative tried several bunches of keys in the front and back as the keys he had been given didn't work. Still couldn't get in! Then the next day the property photos had totally changed with a different postcode. The morons had advertised the wrong property!! Instead of a beautiful house it was a 'hole of a house'! It's a good job that the people residing in the house where everyone turned up weren't at home as if I suddenly had 20 people in my garden looking through my windows I'd have called the police. Not only did they waste an hour and a half of my time travelling there and back and standing whilst the idiot tried all the keys, but they also wasted my diesel (times 20 people)!
