The letting agent didnae arrive with the proper keys when we went frae a viewing and therefore our time frae viewing cut short as we had tae wait..wait..wait. Use a company called Hallmark tae supposedly guide ye over on utility bills as a renter you dinnae want tae use this as it can all be done by yourself an read the small print cause as ye sign over frae it you leave yourself open tae all and sundry tae contact ye and annoy ye. Avoid signing the Hallmark page altogether is my recommendation.

I have had a very poor experience, similar to what others have noted on their reviews. Stonehouse Lettings tried to charge a large sum of money for cleaning what was claimed to be a few small marks / dust. This was unnecessary and disproportionate as it had already been subject to a thorough clean prior to move-out. I would not recommend. We have been in contact to discuss the property (AB22 8YY) but Stonehouse Lettings does not wish to resolve sensibly.

Stonehouse letting are probably the best letting agents I have had experience with. They are prompt at getting back to any enquiries. The range of properties they had when we were was varied and within all budgets. The staff are friendly and helpful. Couldn't recommend them higher.

Due to the industry I work in I have rented a number of properties throughout the UK. This letting agent is by far the worst I have ever come across. This was a high end let. Part of my terms to take the rental was a professional clean, this wasn't done, the house also had urine stained mattresses which they refused to replace. When i moved out of the property they charged me an inordinate amount of money for 3 small areas of dust found during the check out. For a large 3 bed property I thought this was pretty good, but was left with a huge cleaning bill. During the tenancy on a Saturday we lost hot water and heating, I contacted their emergency number and the call kept getting cut off. I then got a text saying it will be dealt with on Monday, I continued to call and the phone was then turned off. My son was 3 months old at the time and we were left in a cold house with no heating. Also a number of times during the tenancy they entered our property without permission.

Very poor Service. Difficult to get hold of, unresponsive. Lost one of our personal possessions requested and confirmed delivered by one of their employees to their offices. Refused to accept any accountability. When our tenant refused to leave, despite the correct Legal Notice they were very little help. Really disappointing Customer Service experience.

This should be a zero star rating ! I wish I had read all the reviews regarding this companys reputation before renting. From what I now know they are running a scam whereby at the end of the tenancy they make false claims against the tenant. I have never encountered a company that actively does that usually there is no problem in getting a full deposit refund. Avoid this company at all costs

The worst letting agency on earth

The worst letting agency going. Impossible to get hold of, refer you to an online site that doesn't get updated and doesn't work. Completely and utterly useless and get away with it because there is a million people applying to each flat. I hope they go into insolvency and have to give up all their properties.
