I rented this flat through DJ Alexander for 18 months. There were some glitches at the time of moving in, but these were quickly sorted, with Lisa Grieve in particular providing outstanding help and service. For the remainder of the rental, and including my move out, DJ Alexander was extremely responsive and provided excellent service I can recommend DJ Alexander very highly, and have since rented another flat through them.

GoogleAn absolutely brilliant team. My main communication was with Gill who was a genuine super star. The team were able to assist my queries and enable me to have multiple Virtual viewings. I have dealt with DJ ALEXANDER for about 12 years now with varied experiences however the last couple of weeks I have been dealing with Kirsten Marshall-Thomson regards to a bad end of tenancy situation . She has been so helpful and has answered very quickly every question I have put to her. Thank you Kirsten.

GoogleWould give them 0 stars if I could. AVOID renting with them , otherwise you will lose your deposit, this so called agency provides a mediocre and neglecting service. If there’s a problem in your flat they will ignore you for weeks, they will never repair it unless they are going to sell the property and you are out . Had me with NO heating for 2 weeks, flat was poorly insulated and reached -3 degrees in January. This company knew about it and did nothing. This D j Alexander just cares about money, they are useless and treat tenants like if they were worthless. Lived in a property with water damage and mould but they didn’t care, yet they aren’t giving me my full deposit back. Also, don’t even bother cleaning the property, I wasted my last 3 days cleaning the flat and leaving it spotless for them to try and charge me £188 for cleaning services.

GoogleThey asked me to leave the flat BY October and because I found flat on September, moved out and gave them back the key “before” the next rent date, they still asked me to pay October’s rent!?! Despite the fact that the day before I called them and asked, would it be a problem if I leave the flat now and give you the key before the next rent due so I will not have to pay the rent, the male said yes that’s okay, so I brought the key. Also they charged me for cleaning the flat about £150, despite the fact that I already spend 3 hours and cleaned the house before I moved out. I took a picture of after I cleaned the house, it was CLEAN! And they still charged me. They didn’t give me the house clean when I moved in by the way. They also charged me £80, because they found chips(!?) above radiator. I NEVER EAT CHIPS. They did not give me my Deposit either, I had difficulties to pay my new flats deposit! I will never understand what kind of people are they. Stay away from this company for your safety. I wanted to attach the flat pictures that I cleaned and still paid £150, but I don’t want them to have clean and good condition flat pictures under their name.

Our experience of flat viewing with DJ Alexander was great! As first time renters this process can be a bit daunting, but the property manager helping us, Gemma, was amazing. Provided good communication with me before and after the viewing, answered all questions we had and was very friendly. We will definitely continue to use DJ Alexander during our flat search!

Fine home - excellent customer servicesTransferred to D J Alexander and experienced poor and unhelpful customer serviceThey make up their own rules and make you pay additional charges for them to bank transfer money to you if you make a mistake saying it’s a service out of lease. They charged me %20 of the money they owed me.

As a landlord I wasn't very impressed with DJ Alexander. Any repairs they organised were expensive and when it came to letting it seemed like they were more concerned with their own convenience than that of the owner e.g. wanting a 2 week void between lettings to allow them time to inspect the property. Would not use them againl
