GoogleGo Store Self Storage York has always been very kind and personable in helping us manage our storage room with them! We feel our items are secure in the storage facility and the building itself is kept in good shape. We’ve even been able to rent a van a few times to help move our items into the unit and it’s been smoothly organized each time. Thank you so much team!

GoogleVery smooth process, they were very happy to advise by phone about our requirements beforehand. When moving our things to storage, we were unloading within 5 minutes of turning up, Harry was very friendly and helpful on the day.

GoogleWould definitely recommend Go Store. Jamie is incredibly helpful. There are a superb range of different sized storage units. The security is very reassuring. Very easy to set up access. The precautions in place during the pandemic are also make it very safe.

GoogleThe lady I dealt with at the York store (Karen) genuinely could not have been more helpful or accommodating. She made it truly an “if Carlsberg did Storage” experience. What an absolute gem of a company representative. We arrived much later than anticipated due to ridiculous traffic but Karen helped load up my car and even put some of the stuff in her car to help. Honestly never met a more kind and helpful individual. Five stars is not enough.

GoogleI deliver products Mon-Fri all over the country to different Storage Units and this is by far my favourite. Its in a Great location and easy to get to with a big car park accessible for large vehicles. It has bluetooth accessibility to gain entry in and out of the building and same with entry to your personal unit. This to me is what makes this so unique as I have not seen anywhere else or any other competitor use and in my opinion makes it so much easier than having to faff about with codes and padlocks. Its as simple as a touch of a button on the app on your phone. They also have a spare unit that can be used as an overspill if needed which has helped me before in the past when having large deliveries not being able to fit in the unit for that specific week. This of course is another great gesture from the staff by letting me use this as an option when needed. I think they are lovely people who genuinely care about their customers. Would highly recommend!

GoogleThere should be room for 10 stars - and then I'd want to add more. How can I praise Karen more? She provided excellent customer service and kind words, along with colleague Ashleigh, when we were looking for storage solutions after failing to find a removal firm at short notice during our recent house move. The facilities are first class and secure, and so easy to use. It was a massive weight off our shoulders, and the only part of the house selling/buying process that went according to plan - and the only part that was a pleasant experience (apart from stepping across the threshold of our new home at long last!). Thank you again Karen.

GoogleClean, efficient, friendly and organised. Brightly lit and safe. Would highly recommend Go Store York. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Karen helped me figure out the size I would need since I didn't have a clue. After a few months I was able to move to a smaller unit and once again Karen helped do the advanced geometry to work out the smallest unit I would need in order to save money. Really a pleasant experience all around and immaculately clean.

GoogleStaff at Go Self Storage are friendly, extremely helpful and professional. They quickly worked out the size of container I might need and explained the contract details and sent the paper work through quickly. Their app makes it easy to access the secure premises and lifts take you to your required floor if needed. Trolleys are available to move your items if necessary. Once I had removed some items and required a smaller container, one was identified within minutes and I was able to move my belongings immediately and reduced my costs. Based on my personal experience I cannot recommend the store highly enough.

GoogleEverything about the experience has been fantastic. Incredibly easy online sign up which was so helpful since I needed to be into my unit quickly. The app controlled entry is so easy to use too, meaning you can be in and out with a car load of storage in a short space of time. Inside it is so clean, tidy, and brightly lit. The standard that the units are kept up to is amazing. The customer service has been impeccable too! Really personable and friendly at every single stage which makes it great experience! Cannot fault!!

Ryan, We are saddened that you have left such a poor, inaccurate review of our services. When you reported a small amount of mould on a couple of your items in July, which may or may not have been present before the goods entered our facility, our team did their utmost to help. Offering to help you relocate the items to an alternate unit right away, but you elected to leave them in the same unit. We pride ourselves on quality and service, thus have had no other reports of such cases in our 3 years’ operating in Skelmersdale. In regards to access times, these have not changed from the point of agreeing the rental of the unit. We believe that an appropriate resolution has now been found and wish you well for the future.
