EDIT: I have now vacated my unit and I have to say, the move out process was equally easy and pain-free. I can recommend this place to anyone. My experience with GoStore York has been pretty faultless so far. Getting a quote was straightforward and they price matched a quote I had got from another company. Moving my belongings into the unit was easy and the free van hire was a godsend that day! I was impressed with the facility itself and because overall access is controlled via a secure app I was able to give my parents access after I had moved away, which is really handy. It also helps that I know the area around the facility is very safe, so I have no worries. Assuming the move out process is as smooth as the move in process, I would gladly recommend GoStore York to anyone. My top tips would be to: - Read the emails carefully and bring all the requested documentation with you when you move your stuff in. If you're prepared it makes the whole process very smooth and hassle-free. - Make use of the free van if you need it (you only pay a deposit + fuel). - Bring your own padlock for your unit if you already own one. - Arrange your own self-storage insurance separately if you can, as specialist insurers offer it quite cheaply.

Absolutely brilliant staff at Meanwood Road, Leeds. They could not have been more helpful. Showed me round the units so I could see the size I needed and explained the booking process clearly. Ideal location for my son's belongings during the university summer break. Very reasonable pricing and lots of extra storage equipment (boxes, bags, tape, etc) if you need them. Will definitely be back next summer.

I would give Go Store 10 stars if I was able to. Jamie and his team were incredible from start to finish. I described my items and they got the size estimate bang on, they offered refreshments after a long journey and were so flexible with arrival dates and times even welcoming our removals men like their own customers. The service has been fantastic and I would not hesitate to recommend Jamie, Alec and the wider team to anyone needing storage space. Having rented various storage units in the past, this business goes above and beyond, the price is great and the facility is super clean and safe. Well done team. Jack

I could recommend Karen and her team without hesitation. Absolutely brilliant service . They will go beyond to make sure all your belongings are stored safely and always will advise on correct size of the storage so you don't end up overpaying . They managed to get me last minute storage even provided free van to move my belongings. All my belongings were stored in safe space . Facilities are clean and damp proof so all belongings were same condition as left. If I ever return to UK I will use your services again. Thank you guys . You took lots of stress off my shoulders as moving countries is extremely stressful experience. I wish you all the best in your business.

We were moving house and everything had to go into storage as our new house wasn't ready. The team were helpful and gave advice regarding the size of storage required. Each time we called they were always very polite and helpful over the phone. On the day of the move it couldn't have been more simple. The process was easy and within no time I was set up. I can access the storage through a secure app on my phone, allowing me access to the doors and lifts. Very easy to use, and I could share the access easily with my wife. When the removal team arrived a member of the team were happy to let me leave, saving me a good 4 hours of waiting around. They called me when everything was packed in to say it had gone smoothly. Moving can be very stressful, but Go Store helped immensely. I would particularly like to thank Karen Bruce, as she was extremely helpful and took all the stress out of the situation. I can't recommend the team enough.

It was very fortunate that I found Go Store when I was moving house. The staff have been very helpful and accommodating, and at a time when the transition of moving from one home to another is often fraught with problems, Go Store relieved much of the worry. They were always willing to help with the suitability of rooms, which were clean, secure, dry and easily accessible, and overall the experience considerably reduced the stress of moving. The location at Monks Cross is also convenient, and I'm very glad I found such a really terrific place to store my belongings.

Fantastic experience. Easy to use, the app making access easy and secure, especially if you arrange out of hours access. Thankfully the staff were very helpful in sorting it minor issues (all my fault as a technophobe!!), they were very patient, and generally just made the whole thing very easy. I was never concerned about the safety of my possessions, once you see the set up it sets your mind at ease. Would highly recommend and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
