We were moving house and everything had to go into storage as our new house wasn't ready. The team were helpful and gave advice regarding the size of storage required. Each time we called they were always very polite and helpful over the phone. On the day of the move it couldn't have been more simple. The process was easy and within no time I was set up. I can access the storage through a secure app on my phone, allowing me access to the doors and lifts. Very easy to use, and I could share the access easily with my wife. When the removal team arrived a member of the team were happy to let me leave, saving me a good 4 hours of waiting around. They called me when everything was packed in to say it had gone smoothly. Moving can be very stressful, but Go Store helped immensely. I would particularly like to thank Karen Bruce, as she was extremely helpful and took all the stress out of the situation. I can't recommend the team enough.

It was very fortunate that I found Go Store when I was moving house. The staff have been very helpful and accommodating, and at a time when the transition of moving from one home to another is often fraught with problems, Go Store relieved much of the worry. They were always willing to help with the suitability of rooms, which were clean, secure, dry and easily accessible, and overall the experience considerably reduced the stress of moving. The location at Monks Cross is also convenient, and I'm very glad I found such a really terrific place to store my belongings.

Fantastic experience. Easy to use, the app making access easy and secure, especially if you arrange out of hours access. Thankfully the staff were very helpful in sorting it minor issues (all my fault as a technophobe!!), they were very patient, and generally just made the whole thing very easy. I was never concerned about the safety of my possessions, once you see the set up it sets your mind at ease. Would highly recommend and wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Primarily dealt with Ashleigh, so a big thank you to her and the rest of team.

The team at Go Store in York is excellent, very helpful and friendly. They respond to phone calls and emails quickly. The storage facilities are easy to access, clean and well lit. The customer toilet is clean, and there is a sitting area at reception. There is plenty of parking space in the grounds, and it is near a retail park with cafes, shopping & petrol. I highly recommend this Go Store for storage.

First and foremost I'd like to give praise to the staff, namely Karen Bruce. She is a true asset to GoStore and is an absolute star! Nothing was too much for her and she explained all the intricacies so clearly it was impossible to misunderstand. She was friendly from start to finish and really helped me out! Thank you Karen! Secondly, GoStore is one of the (if not THE) best storage places I looked at in York. Secure, clean and dry! No damp boxes anywhere which I have had trouble with at 2 other storage places. Overall an excellent place to store your bits, would definitely recommend purely based on the customer service alone.

We were looking for longterm storage and had contacted Go Store and numerous competitors for quotes. Go Store immediately stood out as we received a call from Karen to advise us on the size of unit we would likely require and in fact saved us money by suggesting we would need a smaller unit than originally thought. Despite the lockdown happening the process of taking on the Unit was seamless and the smart phone access app is ingenious and allowed us to fill our Unit at our own rate. I cannot praise Karen or Jamie highly enough as they have been so welcoming and helpful through the process and it is hard to think how our experience with the company could have been improved. No hesitation whatsoever in wholeheartedly recommending them to everyone.

Jamie and Karen and team at Go Store were fantastic in dealing with my enquiry and needs. Although I didn’t need to use the facility in the end I would not hesitate to go to them if and when I do. From the moment I spoke with them they lifted a weight off my shoulders. We were relocating and had no permanent base yet, faced lots of uncertainty and stress and Karen and Jamie lightened the load with their outstanding customer service, flexibility, advice and communication. I had a great experience with Go Store Self Storage and Jamie personally! The unit was very spacious, no manual locks just click a button in the app on your phone (I loved that app and never seen it in any other storage before). They even accepted shipment and put it in a safe place because I couldn’t come at the time of delivery. Highly recommend, Jamie is brilliant, very friendly and always willing to help with anything! Dissapointed!

I was offered a great price on a storage unit at there Widnes branch. I was told it would be an ongoing price that they gave me. I paid for 12 months storage initially and they confirmed I would pay the initial set price for as long as I kept the unit. However, they have raised the price twice, the second time I rang to complain, so they put it down to my first price increase price. However I am extremely unhappy that the price went up in the first place. They told me that the price for the unit could be rented out for more. When it was offered to me at the ongoing price I was quoted, they were only too happy to take my money as they had several empty units. I feel quite annoyed they have done this and will be removing my belongings as soon as I can!.

What can I say about this storage unit. From the first day I enquired about a storage unit Jamie and his team have been absolutely fantastic. The facility has units of various size and I was only encouraged to take the size of unit I needed and not over sold a larger unit. I was informed that should I need to I can upgrade to a larger unit at any time. The whole place is both spotlessly clean and very secure. During lockdown I had to move somethings to my unit and Jamie was able to open the gates remotely from home allowing me to move the things I needed to without seeing anyone. I would have no hesitation in recommending this particular business for all your storage problems and needs.

Everyone knows that moving house is 1 of the most stressful experiences, yet I was moving house whilst based in another country which added another level of stress (living in Republic of Ireland and trying to sell my house in York). When the completion date was confirmed, I had just over a fortnight to move my belongings into storage. I had requested quotes from other storage companies who some had requested that I physically meet them to discuss my needs (not v. helpful to me). Go Store Self Storage was superb; from the 3D clips online to roughly working out how much space I required, followed up with a call from Jamie the manager, all my queries were answered and I felt at complete ease and in safe hands. The entire team; Karen, Harry and Jamie were very friendly and even better when I managed to save money from downsizing to a smaller unit as I had over-calculated the original space required. Would highly recommend this facility; super brand new, very secure (using smart phone application) and fantastic service. You won't be disappointed!

Absolutely first class service from Karen & Jamie. After placing an online price query Karen got in touch very quickly to chat through everything. Whilst the quote was no different to any others I’d requested her warmth, friendliness and professionalism meant I had no hesitation in choosing them. She guided me through the sign up process quickly and easily and I had the unit in no time. The facility itself is well located, clean and super easy to use despite being so secure. Jamie kindly talked this technophobe through the app and getting set up to access and again has been so friendly, helpful and professional. Circumstances dictated that I moved during the lockdown which was unbelievably stressful but the service from Karen and Jamie was nothing short of fantastic.
