Do not reccomend. The storage team take funds out of your bank account without discussing or authorisation, please be careful when passing over your card details to this company as iv had to change all my details. Had been a customer for several years before this started to happen.

We stored personal possessions at GoStore York ahead of getting a home extension. Staff were always helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. We began with 50 sq. ft in October 2020. I recall the sense of relief when driving away after dropping off our first load. Our goods were out of the way and wouldn’t clutter up the house whilst the builders were in. I’m not a tech person but the App which allowed smart access to the building and lifts was easy to use and added to the sense of safety and protection applied, especially during pandemic restrictions. After the building work was completed, we slowly began to move stuff home. By June 2022 we had sufficiently reduced the amount in storage to allow us to move what remained into a smaller unit (35 sq. ft). Helpfully the staff were able to locate a smaller unit very close to our original, so transferring our goods from one to the other was not difficult. In November 2022 we downsized again to a 20 sq. ft unit, again close to the previous unit. We were completely out by Christmas 2022 and having given appropriate notice we were able to get some money from our final months’ storage. I’d use the facility again and would definitely recommend it to others. Thank you GoStore.

I used Go Store to store all our household belongings as we waited for a house purchase to go through and I was delighted with the efficient and friendly service I received from whoever I dealt with. The facilities - even the customer toilets - are superb and the phone app for gaining access works well and is simple to use. I had occasion to also use their van to collect a stray item and I was amazed that it was offered at no cost. Highly recommended.

Go Store York staff are always cheerful and chatty when you go to the site. I often get a friendly wave from the staff when I pop to my unit. Recently I was in need of extra space and they were more than happy to talk me through the various options and come up with the one that suited both my needs and my budget. They know their clients well enough to hold conversations no matter how long between chats which is lovely and makes you feel like it’s a friendly and safe place to be. Genuine friendly staff always looking out for your interests and are quick and efficient at meeting your storage needs. Storage prices are excellent and the invoice system is reliable and easy. I came to Go Store not too sure on what I needed and how to get what I needed. I was greeted very warmly by Alec who made me feel comfortable and at ease, he gave me outstanding knowledge on what services I’d be best using and gave me amazing advice. I wasn’t swamped with figures and jargon, just good friendly easy to understand advice. I was even greeted by the owner and what a great guy, it really seems as if there’s no end to the help from him and his great team. Safe to say I’m very happy with my transaction and look forward to my comings and goings for the future. Definitely recommend to anyone who needs storage. Also there’s the lovely Karen who in my opinion every business needs one of 5 stars isn’t enough

I used Go Store in York to store my sons processions whilst on summer break from university. The whole process was extremely easy from beginning to end. Staff are very friendly, professional and helpful, they even managed to save me some money by suggesting our items would fit in a smaller unit, which they did. I wouldn't hesitate to use again if the need arose. The premises are very clean/ modern and the app makes access very easy whilst maintaining the highest level of security.

Go Store York could not have been more helpful. Everyone I have spoken to and met has been friendly, informative and knowledgeable. My storage solutions were discussed and an appropriate size was agreed. No upselling, no pressure, no problems. I felt secure happy and relieved. The large car park, app and spacious facilities made moving my stuff in a doddle. Would 100% recommend! Customer service is fantastic. Moving home can be incredibly stressful and anything that can help take some of the pressure away is worth every penny.

We’ve used this storage facility a couple of times now and our overall experience is good. I can’t give 5 stars because of a couple of issues. Firstly, one of the lifts always seems to be out of order, so when you’re using them to move items up and down you might have to wait a bit for the other people to finish. The other issue we had very recently, was an additional padlock had been put on our unit door, it was a Sunday so no staff on and we live 11 miles away. We called the help line but they couldn’t do anything, so we had to go back home. A wasted 22 miles journey. When we called the next day they couldn’t explain the extra padlock(which was one of theirs) gave very little in the way of an apology.
