We are currently trying to get our deposit back and have been working with Reeds Rains. It has been over two months now and unless we chase, we get no information. Even when we do chase and give them any details they require, they still don't respond to acknowledge our emails or let us know they are doing anything. The communication has been appalling and I'm so disappointed in the management of our account.

We presented Reed Rains with a substantial challenge, secure our new family home on a limited budget and to add to this there was only one suitable property that met our needs, in York at that time, that we just had to have!! I declined them selling our home initially and did regret that in the end. They then sold ours within a week. It was all managed very closely and effectively. Managing the vendor was key to this all. John, Kyle, Sue and Emily all played a part in ensuring it happened at the right time and within budget. A stressful time made manageable. We used James the mortgage adviser in the York office as we were recommended to use his find the buy service he offers, he not only found us a house and negotiated with the other agent for us when offering but also got us a better rate for our mortgage. Karen the lettings manager also helped to give us rental advice and told us what we could achieve a month for different properties we were considering. Amazing service and when we complete on our purchase we will definitely be using Reeds Rains to let it for us.

Very happy with the service received from Reeds Rains York - they were letting the house I was moving out of, and upon hearing that I was still looking for a new property that would allow pets, their agent Emma recommended one that they were letting and quickly sent me the details. I was able to quickly and efficiently get my new house sorted, with the minimum amount of stress and with bills and insurance sorted out in advance.

John Wroot was very helpful during the move process - complicated slightly by the fact we were in the States - and throughout our lease. Our deposit was also returned to us quickly once we moved out. I would use RR again as a tenant or landlord if the need arose.
