From start to finish the house buying process with Reeds Rains has been fantastic. All the staff who had done house viewings with us were enthusiastic, approachable, knowledgeable and friendly which really made the experience positive. In particular Harvey was a pleasure and made purchasing our dream home easy and stress free. Harvey is a credit to the company. I particularly like that he has been very attentive and communication from him has been 5 star all the way through the process and beyond. I would not hesitate to use Reeds Rains again. Thank you!!!

We’ve had an outstanding experience with Harvey at the York branch of Reeds Rains, and we truly couldn’t recommend him more highly. What really stood out to us is that Harvey is a man of his word. If he says he’ll call you back, he does at exactly the time he promises. That level of reliability is rare and incredibly appreciated. He consistently goes out of his way to support us in our search, always making us feel like a priority. We especially value his honesty. If he’s unsure about something, he’ll say so then take the time to find the correct information and come back to us. There’s no guesswork, no hard sales tactics, and absolutely no “flip flop” answers just straightforward, trustworthy advice. The York branch is very lucky to have him. Our only wish is that we could have Harvey as our agent across all Reeds Rains branches instead of having to change agents!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five Stars for Saint Will, The Most Patient Estate Agent Alive! Will has been my estate agent and part-time therapist for the past seven months. During that time, he’s had the unique pleasure of dealing with me on a near-daily basis. I had him on speed dial, and at this point, I’m pretty sure he shudders every time his phone rings. Selling my property turned into a LONG emotional roller coaster, mostly with me screaming in the front row and Will calmly offering metaphorical snacks and reassurance from the control booth. He handled my tantrums, my overthinking, my overwhelming amount of emails, and my Olympic-level impatience with unreal professionalism and kindness. This man deserves a pay rise, a holiday, and possibly a Knighthood. He managed to keep the sale (and my sanity) together with more patience than I thought humanly possible. If there’s an Estate Agent Hall of Fame, put Will in it. In short: if you want someone who’ll sell your house and not run screaming into the hills when you lose it over paperwork, Will’s your guy. The man’s a legend. Shout out to Kyle for much of the same when covering for Will!

We informed Jess, the Lettings Co-ordinator that managed our viewing, and she said she would keep an eye out for anything that she thought would suit us more. It would have been so easy for Jess and the team at Reeds Rain York to forget about us, two relatively young perspective tenants with little renting experience, but Jess delivered exceptional customer service and tracked us down a property to let that we are now over the moon to call our home. Between herself and Emma, the Lettings Manager, they helped us book a viewing on very short notice and support us with our application process that made us feel well looked after. Moved me into a room with an en suite, that wasnt plumbed in. Water literally gushing all over the floor. This is after a month of delays caused by their failure to communicate, almost leaving me homeless because they kept saying the property was almost ready. They told me they wanted me in as soon as possible in november, I had to wait until january before getting in. This would have been fine if they had given me even 24 hours notice of the delays which they didnt, so I was left with an upcoming end of tenancy with nowhere to live. My housemate had a similar experience except he genuinely was made homeless by their delays. If you must use them, dont believe a word, and get everything in writing and record all phone calls. A consistently disappointing, horrifically incompetent, though seemingly well-meaning team.
