From being prompt in arranging a viewing to suit mine and my partners schedules, patiently answering questions from nervous first time renters and all round just nice people, our experience has been so positive. We received a flyer through our letterbox offering a free no obligation valuation of our property. As we had just carried out substantial building work we took advantage of the offer to see if we had made a return on our outlay. I made it clear from the outset the reason we were asking for the valuation but Reeds Rains were still happy to come out and give us a figure. The Valuer was prompt, polite and didn't try to talk us round to listing our property.

Joshua from the York, Micklegate branch was brilliant! As a first time buyer my knowledge on mortgages was limited but after Joshua explained the process and the different types of mortgage rates, mortgages are definitely not as complicated as I originally thought. My main purpose for my mortgage appointment was to find out how much I could borrow, Joshua provided me with lots of affordable options/rates and then with the next steps to follow when I needed to take out the mortgage. He really listened to my needs and requirements before starting the process and was friendly/approachable. I haven't taken out a mortgage yet but will be when I find the right house to buy. I would definitely recommend Embrace Financial Services/Reeds Rains for mortgage advice.

I would recommend Reed Rains to sell your property as I have found them to be professional, informative and friendly. I put my apartment up for sale with them and within a few hours they had viewings arranged and within a week I had a very acceptable offer on my property. Sue has been brilliant, nothing was ever too much trouble if I needed to discuss anything regarding the sale, very appreciative of her support. I am now all moved into my new property and when I move again Reed Rains would be the top of my list to go to Thanks to Sue and all the staff at Reed Rains York

I honestly can't recommend Reeds Rains enough, from my initial interest in a property to moving towards completion the service I’ve had has been exceptional. Fraser Papprill is my contact at the York branch and he is fantastic. He’s been attentive, ready to answer any questions and follow up and issues I may have had, which as a first time buyer has been invaluable. Joshua Leetham has been my Mortgage Broker and I’d have been lost without him! From our first meeting he’s been world class. Always had time to answer questions and alleviate any worries I’ve had. My different mortgage options were laid out and explained clearly and jargon free. I feel like Josh has always been working to get the best deal possible for me. I'd have given 6 stars if possible.

I recently Let a property from Reeds Rains in York and the service and help that I received was amazing. With this being my first property that I have ever let I had a lot of questions which the team were able to answer with no problems at all. Our two year fixed rate mortgage comes to an end shortly. Having signed up to life long financial advice from reeds rains financial partners embrace, we arranged to meet with their advisor Joshua Leetham. It was very easy to make an appointment as he was very flexible and accommodating. Joshua offered very comprehensive advice and presented it to us in a very friendly fashion. He gave us all our options and put them in terms that were easy to understand. I would recommend this financial service without hesitation and can say without doubt Joshua is a credit to the company. I highly recommend Reeds Rains, been dealing with Greig Cowley in the stockton on tees branch and everything as went so smoothly and very professional. Communication was very clear and I was cared for to a really high standard. Grieg actually even helped my on his dad off and gave me some really good advice. I have also dealt with Christabel Cowley & Paul Harland from the Aklam office, again they are both very very good at what they do, emails where answered instantly and very clear, always made sure I was happy and never left me waiting in the dark. I have also noticed how fast Reeds Rains can sell a house. The pictures they take and property description they do really makes Reeds Rains stand out from the crowd. I always find it so much trouble and time consuming when I needed to find a new flat or house to settle. But last week reeds rains has been giving me a total different experience, super efficient and very friendly. I was able to get an interview to the flat on the next morning right after i found it on the internet and mailed them I’m interested. In the afternoon Lydia explained very detail about what I need to do and prepare next. Their team managed to get everything sorted within a week. Email responding speed was like instant and Lydia were so happy to help whenever I get into the office and ask. Amazing services! Big thanks

I’ve been chased by Reeds Rains for months to pay for a tenant’s new ceiling due to damp, wrongly assumed to be coming from my flat above. Threatening emails, quotes from dodgy tradesman and plenty of phone calls. When I inspected the ceiling with the tenant we discovered it was actually coming from their broken extractor fan in their bathroom. Once this information was relayed to Reeds Rains they have failed to rectify the problem after a month of knowing about it. They have also promised to move an ex tenants old furniture from the apartment block which has now been sat there since June. They are utterly useless and rent out properties that are unsafe. In this case an enclosed bathroom with no ventilation. If possible don’t rent through them and don’t let your property with them.

Just wanted to give Thomas Wilcox a shout out following our new tenant collecting the keys this morning. Tom was determined to have a shot at marketing the property for us, initially marketed for several weeks by another local agent with no success. Tom never gave up ! eventually we gave him the opportunity with only a few days left before the property was going to be vacant. Tom managed to find several viewings in the first day !
